Not really heard of TPU tubes much, are they an alternative to latex?
I have some latex in my TT bike, more faff than their worth as they don't hold air well. But fine for the lower mileage I ride on the TT.

Similar but made of a kind of plastic and I think don’t suffer with the same issues of leaking air.

Well this journey starts rubbish. Rode to the station with a rucksack weighing ~12kg due to my laptop etc. Had to bring rubbish clothes because I was limited in weight/size.
Plus side is i absolutely flew to the station averaging 32km/Hr since it’s mostly downhill. Although was nervous about the return ride.
Got to the station only to be told I can only bring my bike if it’s folded and in a bag. This is despite me choosing a train which tells me I can bring a bike (some trains have limited space)
So then had to get my wife to rush down to the station to pick my bike up and now she’s stuck picking me up late on Thursday because my return journey was a late train to allow me to take a bike!

Lighter and I believe hold air better than latex but very easily punctured and repairs to them are tricky. Most people just carry them as a spare tube as they weight FA and take up a tiny amount of space compared to any other inner tube.
I run the “ridenow” tpu tubes from aliexpress, the 38g ones and they’re fine. Air wise they need a top up like most normal rubber tubes - once every 2-3 weeks from what I can tell.
Not had any issues yet and I carry two spare in my saddle bag just in case. They’re easier to puncture when fitting the tire for sure but other than that I don’t see any cons. Much lighter too.
Yeah. I think as long as you get through the first week after fitting you’re safe.

Nope. Fenix 7 or 1040.
Rode to work this morning, no issue. Ran and been to gym earlier in the week, no issues either (on the Fenix obviously!)
Rubbish! Are there different providers with different bike rules, or just one of those things for Spain?!

Had a bug with my BOLT earlier this week and noticed the Wahoo forums also had more people moaning recently like they might have rolled out a duff update which has introduced some bootup/startup issue.
Seems to just be one of those things. Have jokingly told the business owner I was visiting that if he keeps inviting me I’d charge him the cost of a bike bag!
Could've been worse, you could've been indoors watching United again (although i would argue the performance was slightly better than recent games ignoring the result)
I actually got out. Had planned an 80km ride, but was feeling a bit tired part way through. Mainly after a late night the previous night where my car broke down in Alicante and we had to wait for a recovery truck and then get a taxi back. All whilst stood in the rain! Had an easy route adjustment which would've knocked around 20km off it which i was going to take, but then forced myself to carry on and generally actually felt alright. Made better by some Haribo at a local petrol station!
Unsure if it was the cold, but this morning my nose was completely blocked. However after multiple attempts to blow it, i never excreted any snot, but eventually it just cleared, almost like it was swollen. It felt a bit like when you pop your ears!

Sometimes you just have to crack on and do it @Martynt74. You are almost always better for it. Its amazing how out of condition you get over the English winter if you don't manage to get outside. I guess a lot of that is my own fault insofar as I do 99% of my Zwifting on ERG. Takes a while for the legs to remember that you can't push 200w on a 15 degree hill in both directions. On the plus side I didn't have a single bad incident with a car on my ride yesterday which is an anomaly. Perhaps the weather being slightly better is helping.
Yeah, that's something i need to be better with, just pushing through and doing what i need to. Having goals of long endurance stuff means i can't just give up early if i want to get to that kind of level!
You get to play "is that a puddle or is that a puddle with a massive pothole under it" as well!
Whats utterly baffling is that you are sometimes on pokey little roads that clearly get a fair chunk of traffic but they are brilliant to ride on. Fast, relatively smooth and clearly not particularly new and then you have utter garbage roads that are horrible to ride on. I assume that if you relay a bit of road badly then thats pretty much it. We don't seem to have the money or desire to resurface most roads properly so they are just patched to hell and it all falls apart again very quickly.
