They've probably started binning the perfect chips for the 5080 super already and selling the drossDifferent chip. 5080 uses the GB203, 400 (normally indicating the chip spec), A1 (revision). It's at nearly the top off the spec for that chip. When the 5080 Ti/Super comes along, it will be a new spin altogether, or a cut down GB202 (the chip used in the 5090).
