White paint is expensive don't you knowOCUK has a white 5080 in stock, I would be tempted to buy one while I wait for my 5090 but then saw the price.... £1700
I would pre-order and wait elsewhere. Even the price on the other site already over priced.OCUK has a white 5080 in stock, I would be tempted to buy one while I wait for my 5090 but then saw the price.... £1700
It doesn’t matter what the price is all the retailers no they will still sell. They’ve already sold 2. Credit cards and finance.Yeah that price is egregious. I get it but there comes a point when you’re taking the pee
Ooof, but I get it, they get much more margin on the builds.Apparently also people are stating on Reddit that on the other place their queue numbers are going up and not down.
I can only assume that if you buy a pre-built you instantly move to number 1 in the queue.
1 Gigabyte OC Gaming 5090 dropped for £2500 - That's right only 1.
Let me just jump on that 5080 Suprim that just popped up for £1700. Also, remind me to get that hole in my head checked.
Why even bother putting 1 up for sale though, wouldn't you just offer that card to someone with a pre order1 Gigabyte OC Gaming 5090 dropped for £2500 - That's right only 1.
Even today, only a single 5090 was sold in the UK. That's a great sign.12 days in and the asking prices are in the £1.3K’s for the 5080 on the bay. Previously they were in the £1.4K+ range.
Keeping holding!
As long as scalped cards aren’t selling as fast, the retailers will soon catch up on the 5080 stock.Wish we could have some sort of idea on the amount of pre orders here on overclockers, i have a Zotac solid o/c on order, fingers crossed its not going to be months
Might mean the 5090 though which frankly doesn't seem to exist. It's been almost a week since the last "real" drop anyones heard about. As long as scalped cards aren’t selling as fast, the retailers will soon catch up on the 5080 stock.
Pre-builts had priority before in the 4xxx series and 3xxx series. When they promise to deliver these in a much shorter time than a single GPU they allocate GPU's to these because the profit is greater. By how much is debatable but they get more than a single GPU. Also I have noticed articles popping up on my phone saying the best way to get a 5xxx is buy a pre-built. I've seen some quite reasonably priced 5080 pre-builts so you can see why people might go that way. Stick your old GPU in it and sell the whole lot off 2nd hand. Just checked and the 5080 PC's are in stock and the 5090 PC's are 2 week delivery. The place it went up for sale doesn't do preorders. Why even bother putting 1 up for sale though, wouldn't you just offer that card to someone with a pre order
