nah its a good brand but its not up there with Asus Astral and MSI Suprim, though the prices are top tier prices, as long as you sell it before the mass availability of the 50 series cards u shud be able to shift it for what u paid for it...

Just the one batch today unfortunately at around 12:06pm , sold out within 1 minute .
As pointed out above by @Sc00p007 its not a bad card as such and will work perfectly fine for gaming but it will be a reference pcb so slightly cheaper to manufacturer and certainly shouldn't be costing £600 over msrp .. £100 to £200 at absolute most . Yeah if you wanted to shift the Palit I'm sure it would sell in this current climate.
loads of 5080s in stock loads, even 5090s came instock but they went fast, I added to basket but you can continue to purchase because its gone
But its a good sign to show they are slowly coming in stock, wide variety available on the 5080s

Astral preorder queue just dropped another place so 115 now , i will be dropping out tomorrow once I get the FE in my hand so those in the queue will go up another place if currently over 114 . Wish you all the best of luck and hopefully get some movement on the AIB cards soon , won't know what to do with myself not checking the queue position every 5 minutes

I see people are selling their Astral queue position for £4000 + on the bay but I can't be bothered ducking about with that so just get a refund and be done with it ... 5080 Astral for £1800 you say, no thanks I'll take a 5090 FE for £1940 instead

I thought 5090 and 5080 were the same chip like in the 40 series but cherry picked, looks like 50 series using different chips for 80s and 90s
The 5080 is a 5070 in all but name.
