literally took them about 1.5 hours to get the door open.

They had to saw the deadbolts etc with a multitool, now waiting whilst they rig up a new locking mechanism

door finally closes with a lock on it.

got to wait for a joiner coming tomorrow to fix it properly.

took them about 3 hours all in :O , one of my neighbours actually complained and asked what they were doing when they were trying to kick the door in lol... (was around midnight)

On certain subjects, sure. On others, not so much.
But its definitely better than Mumsnet...

I was scrolling a Mumsnet thread the other day somewhat against my will (there was a nugget of information within which I was searching for)

What a dreadful place... :p

It’s nowhere near balanced on the very type of subjects you mentioned and is flooded with Twitter posts for the SC collective to rage about in sync.
 
Do the Dutch cycle so much because their metro is rubbish? It's not cheap and I've been waiting half an hour for a train that was due to arrive imminently. It's only a 10 minute ride and have walked it previous days. If the board didn't lie, I'd have been there by now.


And tap in/out doesn't work with any of my cards and no explanation provided.

And they cancel all trains.

it has? there seems to be professional agenda pushers in there, they probably work for some charity.

I remember accusing someone in the immigration thread of being a human rights lawyer and they never denied it, I asked multiple times and they purposely ignored that part of my post.
so I guess that says it all.


It actually makes me wonder how many charities have people seeding sentiment on the internet, I guess it's the equivalent of modern day chuggers

I say this without any real context of what was said, but in fairness you should generally attack ‘the argument’ and not ‘the person’.

Also, for what it’s worth, I’m not sure anyone stumbles into being a human rights lawyer in pursuit of ‘self-interest’ or ‘the money’.

I wasn't attacking the person I was wondering why the position was so strong, or weak when it came to us having any borders.


apparently we should open embassies in every third world country so we can process their citizens and empty the whole countries, I'm guessing we get the land after no one lives there for a fresh start.
