If you’re that desperate for an echo chamber go on mumsnet or somthing.Catching up on the news from today, Trump and Ukraine, new legislation that stops small boat migrants getting British citizenship, deranged Nazi rappers, Musk white house press conference..
I miss SC
I wasn’t a frequent poster but miss the daily reading. Can we not just revoke access to the crazies and reopen, it’s been more than 14 days![]()
If I wanted that, I’d just read Twitter. SC has always been reasonably balanced in terms of views, it’s well moderated and a fairly ok source of news.If you’re that desperate for an echo chamber go on mumsnet or somthing.

I was scrolling a Mumsnet thread the other day somewhat against my will
It’s nowhere near balanced on the very type of subjects you mentioned and is flooded with Twitter posts for the SC collective to rage about in sync.If I wanted that, I’d just read Twitter. SC has always been reasonably balanced in terms of views, it’s well moderated and a fairly ok source of news.

I remember accusing someone in the immigration thread of being a human rights lawyer and they never denied it, I asked multiple times and they purposely ignored that part of my post.

It actually makes me wonder how many charities have people seeding sentiment on the internet, I guess it's the equivalent of modern day chuggers
I wasn't attacking the person I was wondering why the position was so strong, or weak when it came to us having any borders.I say this without any real context of what was said, but in fairness you should generally attack ‘the argument’ and not ‘the person’.
Also, for what it’s worth, I’m not sure anyone stumbles into being a human rights lawyer in pursuit of ‘self-interest’ or ‘the money’.
What the F did Diddums do to get perma’d?
I know he’s had a million hours in the OCUK jailhouse, but it’s usually been banter gone a little too far, but that’s it.
