I laughed so hard when I saw those poor capsHe is a repair shop in Germany this specialises in precision repair work on GPU and CPU :
He was my first port of call when i knocked all the capacitors off my 14900KS when delidding it , he had it back as good as new
Mate i wasn't laughing when it happened , no word of a lie i felt physically sick when i noticed what i had done i had to sit down and compose myselfI laughed so hard when I saw those poor caps

I am UK based but found them perfect to deal with, the guy speaks fluent English so basically like dealing with someone over here tbh
as mentioned I've used him more than once , the CPU i paid for as Cablemod didn't seem too interested in helping me out on that one

Astral £1799? Issue is they know people will cave and buy at those prices. There’s no way they are coming down to what they should be so in some ways I don’t blame you. It’s just a travesty last year you could buy a 4090 for the same price and have better performance. Just not good.

No no, few cheaper options went live this afternoon so picked up one for £1250. Feels insane to me, most I’ve ever spent on a GPU before was about 500 for a 3070!

i'm really liking the look of the astral. the more i see it, the more i think i wish i'd paid the extra £100 & ordered that card over the suprim.

No one should be buying at these prices unless your livelihood literally depends on it.
Will be interesting to see what happens to 5090 prices once the UK gets say 1000 cards (of varying SKU) delivered between all the retailers. Maybe this will take until April, May or June, who knows.

Nothing, they will sell out at inflated prices. The 4090 only went up over time with more availability. The 6 Astral 5080s sold yesterday people don’t care they will pay whatever even if they are getting a bad deal.
