Well considering OCUK have been pre-scalping prices by 100-200 above the MRSPs price, it doesn't actually matter what AMD charges tbh.

At this point considering the scalping, availability, the fact idiots are actually paying these prices .

My prediction - MRSP £750, actual cards because no reference cards will be available £800plus, pre-scalped for our convenience the average sale price will be £900

That's now my expectation, I think i'm going to commit to my 1080ti for another 2 years at this point.

It's nice that games like that exist that give you the option to have these mental graphics settings that you don't have to use. Otherwise you're left with games like RE4 that may as well not have RT at all.

Not really, it's a want not a need at this time, the 1080ti still works, there's not been many new games i've wanted to play so i'm playing my old back catalogue and i've been enjoying it. Other than Marvel Rivels which I get 100fps in 4k still it's going pretty well.

I want one but I'm still in a position I can afford to not be bent over, under 700 and ill consider it but i'm not going to be taken for a ride to make rich ******* richer *******

That would make them the same price as the 5070 Ti is right now, erm? This will not do, its not going to be much if any better than the 5070 Ti in raster and a step down in RT, so having a card that is in most measurable ways not as good the same price would be, erm? Very very silly.

It needs to be £650 at most tho with some high end AIB's maybe £700, that just to be 'not awful' to be good they really need to start at £600, you can get a 5070 Ti, again looks to be a measurably better GPU, for £800 right now on OCUK.

My preference is around 599 entry price, 650 actual, 700 good AIBs. I completely agree with you. If I can get a good AIB one for 700 and it performs as we expect i'm in, but i'm expecting the worst.

I can't say i'm going to buy form OCUK though this time, i normally only use them but i've noticed this time they are charging 50-100 more per model than any other website.

I'm completely with you though, get the price right and AMD will sail to a victory.

No chance the MSRP will be £750 , when Nvidia 5070ti MSRP is £729 regardless if you can get it at that or not

I can see it £600-£650 weather we can get it for that we still see , it's not going above what 5070ti is going

This is what i want to say but actually didn't, just making the point that it would be silly if AMD did this, you see i wouldn't put it past them, AMD have to prove they aren't going to come over all daft as they have done that too many times now, i will say the last GPU they launched, other than the 7900 GRE was the RX 7800 XT and to me at least they have gone some way to redeeming themselves with that, good card at a good price, i bought one, but i think it will take more than one redemptions act to prove all the silliness has been weeded out.

You are being quite logical, i don't yet know that AMD can be again.

One thing you can be certain about they are not gonna set the MSRP higher than 5070ti MSRP that makes no sense they are still playing catch-up even if they might have closed the gap and they don't have the mind share anyway

What we will be able to get them for will be discussion for another day
