*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Others users have made similar comments and still gone against it.

So many 3090 users who went on about vram now have a 5080. Also boomstick said he wasn't getting a 5070Ti but buckled a fee days later. Lol.
Your decision last gen for a cheap 70ti seems to be working out well! The price you paid is OK for a 70ti class card and we all need to keep reminding the purveyors of fine gpu wine that our wallets stop at £500!

It’s amazing how in this rumour thread we have gone from £450 to £499 to £549 to £599 to £649 to £699 and now £749 for the price of the 9070XT lol. :D:cry:

Probably a result of both seeing how atrocious the pricing of the 5000 series is and also realising with increasing likelyhood that AMD will fall flat on it's face, with this pricing.

1 week to go.

This thread is an emotional rollercoaster.

This thread has more twists and turns than a drama mystery movie set in a maze.
I'll be glad for this all to be over, as we all resign ourselves to the death of affordable GPUs.

Those 'others' are not me though. I paid £445 for my 3060Ti back in 2023 and thought that was way too much but as I got £145 back from selling my 1660 Super it didnt seem so bad.

£550 is my uppermost limit and even then, thats because I hope to claw some cash back with selling this Ti.

If it’s not crypto, it’s AI bumping up prices and demand. I have just about had enough of this greed. I just wish GPUs would be used just for playing games or designing things nothing else.

What happened to Lisa Su wanting the best price/performance cards for gamers?

9070XT needs to be max £549- please listen to your loyal fan base AMD.

AMD may not have anything that fits your budget unfortunately

I would be quite happy with that performance in both RT and raster on the 9700xt just need the price

That's about where i would have expected it.

The 9070 XT has 7% more shaders / RT cores and at 2.7Ghz an 11% higher clock vs the 7800XT +18% more GPU for +60% RT, can't remember if it was a leak or if AMD said this but RDNA 4 was supposed to be 50% faster per RT core, that just about adds up, its quite an impressive gain, the 9070 XT is significantly faster in RT than the 4070 Ti in This RT benchmark.
I don't think the 5070 will be any faster with RT even in Cyberpunk now, that is a big step for AMD. the 4070 is 20% faster than the 7800 XT.

Again its just price....
