£399 --> sells fast, is very successful
£499 --> sells fast at first, add games bundle --> forums full of users selling games, price drop's
£599+ --> sells fast at first, add games bundle --> forums has 2 users selling games, forgotten (Intel smiles).
Its seem obvious AMD will price it high but I don't want to believe they would be so dumb to go £799.I do keep repeating it to avoid the hype train from going out of control but anything less than £799 would be a miracle.
I have visions of humbug dancing under the shower and shouting £499! to this track

I think it will be £599 (none XT) and £699 for the XT.
The plot thickens

Coupled with the latest news surrounding the defective silicon shipped with some 5090s the stage has never been better for AMD to hit a home run here as Nvidias shining star is dulling by the minute it seems lol
Come on AMD smash this 9xxx series out the park on price and performance
RTX5090D?

GPU prices seem to be rising-a purveyor of fine quality and exquisite used electronics has raised their buy prices.
In fairness (and I've mentioned this before) but he's right. That's preloading a bad review, he knows there is no way its going to be $300 less than its Nvidia competitor (in some instances half the price) he's setting unrealistic expectations because he doesn't want give it any positivity.
This petty bickering of his with AMD needs to stop.
So if true and that is where is slots, Thats nearly double the score of my 3080FE
In fairness (and I've mentioned this before) but he's right.
He's not saying the card is going to be bad if it's (much) more than $550, he's saying it won't be a success. HUB calculated that AMD offered their RDNA3 cards at around 17.5% less than their competitors, and that wasn't enough to move the needle. So they need to price even lower.
Basically they need to give an option where it's just so cheap that paying more for their competition would be silly, like they did with Ryzen.
I agree - but even if that is no longer true with RDNA4, people will still believe exactly that.Imo, the reason a lot of people swerved AMD last gen was largely based on being told their Raytracing sucks and FSR is inferior to DLSS..
AMD NEED to match NVIDIA on RT, they can't stay 1-2 generations behind NVIDIA anymore, not now new games are coming out with RT as a requirement
they need their own Cyberpunk, a game that they can work with long term to showcase incredible visuals.I agree - but even if that is no longer true with RDNA4, people will still believe exactly that.
I mean people are still hung up on AMD drivers when that hasn't been an issue for many years.
This is why they need to get people on board. People will just parrot what they're being told unless they try for themselves.
