What have you done to your car today?

Ovlov is gone :( :) Happy but will be missed.

When the new owner test drove it, I guided him to a place to floor it, made us both smile.

Something to be said about the old T6 Volvos. Comfort and large 6-cyl, good stuff.

Hit a pothole - didn't even seem that bad. Nice.

Fitted the auto dimming rear view mirror that UK GR86s didn't get. Useful little quality of life feature, especially in a car that sits very low to most other vehicles on the road.
No more reaching up to dim my own mirror like some sort of Neanderthal.

Gave the car a basic wash, rinsed it down first with my Greenworks GDC40 pressure washer after charging the batteries and I’m happy to report it still works after not using it for two years.

Then did the two bucket shampoo and water with a wash mitt, then dried it with microfiber drying towels. Car hadn’t been washed since it last serviced last June.

Just washed the Mrs's car. It needed it badly.

Also restored the plastic on the headlights but I think the attempt to revive the steering pump has failed. They'll charge for fixing that I suspect, if it doesn't fail the MOT on that then I think I will have to replace that next. Easy enough todo on that car.

Added an interchiller. It uses the AC to cool the supercharger coolant rather than a heat exchanger.

Sub ambient intake temps make a world of difference.

Chucked some Pagid rear pads & discs on the ST as the pads were close to metal.
May possibly give it a wash sometime..

but probably not.

Just had paintless dent removal and scratch repair for my Civic Tourer. £160 at the local body shop and now genuinely can't see it had taken a hit. Rectifying it getting a whack from my wife's car door on the drive when my 7yo son opened it on a very windy day, on day 2 of my ownership.

Well it passed the MOT, it seems that the power steering pump is getting better, I think it was a combination of aux belt slip, air bubbles still in the system that have worked their way out and also it's probably shifted some the dirt. I have noted that the new fully flushed steering fluid is now back to a black-dark red. Either way all good.

Washed it, finally. God it was in a grim state. Probably will be again a a couple of days, the roads are covered in crap.
Need a couple of dry days so I can clean and treat the soft top properly.

My soft top has developed moss this winter :( Not sure why it didn't last year, possibly I had it folded down and the hard top on.

Washed snow foamed and pressure washed them both.

CBA to do any more than they as they'll be dirty again in a day given the state of the roads at the minute
