This is what we have to contend with and we wonder why the prices are where they are nowadays.
Max the 9070XT seems to be worth only $550 as it’s only 10% better at raster than a 7900xt. The latter could have been had for £543 in November.
Not amazing value imo but for gpu starved market I see a lot of people buying them as they don’t have an alternative. I think this will increase market share which will be good news for UDNA and hopefully AMD will innovate raw performance.
A card being available on sale for a short term doesn't suddenly make that the price the card is all the time. The 7900XT even then was around £650 normally, that's the comparable price.
I got my 7900XTX for £800 in August 2023 when it was normally still £950+ but it doesn't make £800 suddenly the price it's worth.
