That is not unique to AMD. The 4000 and 5000 series plays very badly on some games.

Is it not just a bit of a nothing burger though? Factory spec is 304w... Even if overclocked and pulling 400w, up to 75w is coming from the PCI-E slot - these cards aren't going to pull anywhere near what 5090's are.

If they were released 2pm yesterday, likely would have grabbed one. Having time to sleep on it, I think I will stick with the 3080. I told myself 50% uplift and I would bite, so at 30% give or take, it's a very slight no from me.
Although it's tempting to use the Blue light card/health discount for once haha. Could likely get ~7% off some retailers.
