Hmm my credit card says they’ve taken the money, but the statement says it’s being refunded. Think I’ll sit this one out and see what happens, not that I have any choice.

Hahaha. It’s absolutely hilarious TBH. Been ready to buy a 5090FE since launch but I guess I’m going to end up keeping my existing card and picking up a 9070XT for my son instead.

Nvidia have actually saved me money, which is a first.

I'm finding myself actively checking less often now because it just isn't moving. MSI are somehow this massive automated manufacturer yet appear to be slowest to get anything ashore. It must all be on one massive ship that's going from port to port.

Zotac 5090 amp Extreme delivered at work now so wont get to play while later , the DPD driver thought it was wise to leave on front step without ringing door bell , luckily I was keeping a close eye on the ring camera and had left the front porch unlocked, don't fancy having a 2.7k card left on the front in full view

Been having some annoyed messaging with the queue place the last couple of days about pushing my esitmated date back daily and they rang me today to basically say that they are expecting stock for msi supreme air this week hence the estimated date so fingers crossed this is all over for me soon

Jeez I’m miserable waiting .

Not bought a new GPU on release day since before the times when stock became gimped. Mine doesn’t even have an ETA on there, over a month later, and I’m only 15 in the queue.

Their last update was that they should be able to better provide ETAs soon so still impatiently waiting… I go through phases of not being too bothered and then days like today where I get super irritated by the whole situation. Nvidia stink

When my credit card balance clears on 20th March and the money paid for the 5090 is a reality I think I might erupt if it’s the same situation…

I'm surprised OCUK don't require a password upon delivery of these GPU , the competitor who sells the FE does exactly this so does another huge retailer when I have purchased a CPU off them in the past... will stop all this leaving 5090 at doorstep so someone might be able to get a nice freebie if you don't notice it in time

Our local courier who delivers on behalf of DPD done the same thing with a new TV with no outer box to hide what it was.
And I don't even have a front garden so it was literally sat on the pavement. At a time when the local drunks and druggies used to sit on near by park benches.
Luckily I was sat inside waiting for it so got it before it got nicked.
I was fuming and since then anything over £100 in value gets delivered to my work.
