The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Installed my nitro+ today. Happy with it as an upgrade from 3080 10gb.

I'm torn between this 1 and the red devil to be honest

Kinda want to sell my 5080 and get a 9070 XT when they are available for like £650 or less

I spent £1250 on my Gigabyte Gaming OC 5080 but I don't really feel like I need or care about that extra performance.

Never sold anything online before so will probably just stick with it.

This is what I have ordered and also upgrading from a 3080 10Gb. Once you have spent some time with it, I would like to hear your feedback.

I'm the same, Originally I wanted the red devil but the Nitro+ grew on me. When I saw the red devil in stock on OCUK, I nearly went for it.

Speaking of which, Any of the red devil owners got any pictures of it in their case? I've had a look at all the links on page one but none of the owners have pictures in the case.

How are people with the XT pulse finding undervolts?

Not done loads of messing myself yet, though found that -20% power limit with -100mv will give me better than stock clock speed whilst pulling 240w, seems a decent trade off but it's my first time ever trying this
I get about the same. I started out benchmarking at -140mv but quickly realised games were unstable until -70/80mv. Pushing the GPU to the limits with power limit +10%, -70mv, +50 core nets some nicer benchmark results but I quickly ran into diminishing returns. Playing with settings in game, you can go from 240w to 340w and only see a difference of single digits in frames. Makes sense to go the efficiency route combined with a VRR display.

In fairness it only seems to reach up to the radiator, which is probably 27mm thick? (based on those fans being 25mm), so 298mm + 27mm = 325mm.

EDIT: Also, I have that case!

There is 320mm space after you install the fans and the radiator. As you can see the card is less than 10mm from the fans. If it was actually 298mm it would be more than 20mm from the fans.

Ran my Nitro+ power leads straight out the side of my Phantek case, just need to add a pull 120mm fan onto my CPU cooler Master, and fit a rear exhaust fan and I’m done for a bit

Card is a beast but the support bracket is a bit pointless! IMO

Is anyone having issues with no display for the BIOS/splash screen?

I can boot into Windows just fine, but until I get to the login screen I get no display signal. I assume I can access the BIOS but there is no display. I had this before years ago with my 1080ti and never got to the bottom of it.

Next time I get a CPU I'm getting one with integrated graphics!

Is that what you measured, because the Corsair website says the max GPU length is 320mm?
That's assuming of course that I correctly identified the case as the Corsair 540 AIR.
Measuring mine there seems to be a little over 320mm from the PCIe bracket to the fans.
