Those simsonn pedals are the best value pedals in sim racing bar none. I've used a pair side by side with the HE Pros and they feel pretty much identical at a quarter of the price

Yeah they were a absolute steal I didn't go for clutch at time, paid £116 for the accel/brake. Have change the brake a little. But they cracking, and tbh for a newbie like me you gain loads of time with LC

On different note. It's coming together
Excuse the mess. It's world war 3 in there atm

Every year the same thing happens. I spend hours researching and planning my new sim racing setup, only to weep at the cost and never buy anything.

yeah prices are mad, i set my limit at £600 inc seat n monitor mount for aluminium profile , i went £19 over, thats one less takeaway. but what i got surprised me. cracking quality tbf, but even better is their customer service, thats worth its weight in gold these days.

I originally built my sim for about £950 not including the pc and monitor which I already had, I have since spent a fair bit more on it the original sim was perfectly adequate

Only thing I don’t like about my GSi wheel is how noisy the shifters are, but it’s an og fpe.
I see pricing for the Moza m booster active pedals are out at £799 for one doesn’t seem too bad compared to Simucube offering.

finally all done, need to reconnect pc and leads, spirit level the monitor as barely a touch off, and obviously clean up. have to say cracking quality on this rig for the money, little bit of flex in pedal tray, but to be expected with that particular design, but will get some ally and make a sturdier one, loads of washers, bolts etc left, even though every bolt has washer and sprung washer, for a smidgen on £600 got the rig seat intergrated monitor mount and they service is first class, always replying to emails with queries rapidly. top marks all around tbh

I think the FPE is the best all round wheel they make if you have the money. I’d choose it over the P1. Enjoy
The Bavarian simtec Alpha wheel also looks good.
Yes - I looked at Bavarian Simtec Alpha wheel but wasn't sold on the button functionality or looks of it. There is quite a long wait for the GSI wheel, but happy to hold out for it.

just a heads up, if you want to add simagic haptics, you can get a 3D print file from sim-labs discord, but it needs modifying otherwise it just breaks when you tighten up the screws.
I found a guy on ebay that printed it for me and he only charged me £5 per bracket and a few quid postage. there is someone selling them on etsy but they want £15 per bracket + postage

I'll just stick with the standard pedals and see how they go.
The blue touches match the rest of my sim rig :)

I also looked at the Cube Controls SP01 Pedals, They about £880, reduced to £550 at the moment, but it appears there are too many issues with those currently and even reduced the higher price doesn't justify over the XP01 pedals.

A final sim racing purchase from me for a while.

A new monitor : 49" Odyssey G95C, 240Hz, 5,120x1,440 and a 1000R curve, for a wrap around immersive feel.
I've wanted this monitor for 5 years (2020), when many of the pro racing drivers got one when they started sim racing during COVID. This has an upgraded spec compared to the 2020 model and I can't wait to get it.

Yea I'm eyeing up one myself!

My new kit has arrived :

- 49" Samsung 1000R curved monitor
- SimLab XP1 pedals
- GT Omega Adjustable Pedal plate

The wider monitor and significant curve definitely improves the immersion. I will probably get a heal plate for the pedals to improve the comfort.

How much space width wise does it take?
Is there's a smaller version like a 42inch one?
