What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Still playing The Finals (season 6 is really good so far!) and then Split Fiction (around 60% of the way through) and very much enjoying AC:Shadows right now.

I'm also 35 this year so does that mean in 5 years time I graduate to the 'What are the 40 year plus gamers playing?' thread?

About 23 hours into RDR2 at the moment and it's really starting to draw me in more and more - ridiculously good looking game, lots to do and the story is getting real good.

Also been playing a fair bit of PUBG again recently - getting rinsed on the reg but really enjoying it.

It's ok just looks old now. If you're going to spend money might as well get POE2 for £12 from a key site, or wait for it to go live when it's f2p
yeah I second this, while it's a good game it does feel dated. I'd definitely go for PoE2 over this.

Almost at the end of Aliens Dark Descent which has been great fun to play. Had some very tense moments trying to extract the squad at the end of the missions.

Probably try out They are Billions next
Ooooh, I really liked Dark Descent. It's a rare Aliens-with-an-S game that actually understands the movie it's based on. I played through a big chunk of it on the Steam Deck while on a trip, which worked far better than I had expected. And yeah, some of the end-of-mission extractions get properly tense, when all of the little mistakes you'd made earlier in the mission start to cascade.

Only game I've really played recently is Foundation, hoping there will be an expansion for it soon.

Not got the energy to play games much these days. Hoping it will change soon but honestly, there's not much that interests me on the gaming front.

I have been like this for a few years now. Its like as I am getting older games are no longer appealing to me as much as they used to be.

finding I am only playing a few games at the moment

I am slowly working my way through Kingdom come deliverance 2. The older I get the less time I feel I have for games and so favour quicker games that don't take long to play a match in or require much in depth focus. Would like a new MMORPG though that would grip me once more.

It really does well at capturing the atmosphere of the film, Aliens. So many times I've anxiously been tracking the rate of ammo consumption of my sentry guns

Huh. I thought I’d deliberately opted out after seeing a ‘sex game’ a year or so ago which that made me feel super uncomfortable - but having checked again I’d only opted out of the ‘community posts’, so I clearly messed it up. I don’t recall ever clicking to see that content so I’m not sure what happened?!

It shared a name with a childhood game of mine and I foolishly assumed it was a remake / re-release… definitely not! ><

You're not going mad. I never opted in and wondered why I was starting to see this crap. Now disabled.

58 here - and seem to be playing stuff that reminds me of games I played in my 30's it seems these days

Mechwarrior 5 - both reminds me of Mechwarrior 2 ( still the game with the best soundtrack ever imho) and gives me memories of playing the original Table top
Europa Universalis 4 - reminds me of all the old wargaming title we had before 3D was a thing
Cities Skylines - Simcity 2000 ++++++++

Try playing some of the Grim Dawn mods as well if you get teh DLC - I recommend Grimarillion basically it takes class concepts from D3 & Titan quest and adds them in with a few extras

Atomfall.

It's kinda janky but sort of reminds me of Bioshock so that's ok.
Which Bioshock? First one? If so might get Atomfall at some point. Currently playing Two Point Museum. It's a bit frustrating at times trying to achieve multiple targets to get a star and the less said about thieves the better!
