CarWOW I feel are pretty decent as long as what you ask is realistic compared to the market think it will sell fast! I got almost £7K more from them than what WBAC or BCA valued my Emira at you have to look around to get the best deal!Well after some lowballs from the BMW dealer and only a little better from WBAC, my M240i is now on carwow, fingers crossed for a decent outcome

CarWOW offer for my Focus RS is £2698 higher than WBAC. Not tried Motorway. Fed up giving my email address out to all these companies.
Before CarWow, local BMW Dealer offered me 19k which they later upped to "maybe" 20k, WBAC offer was circa 19.5. Auttrader's trade in system was coming back with 20,600 ish. I listed on Carwow with a reserve of 21,500, close to their recommended reserve.
Car Sold (on paper at least) for £22651 to a BMW Dealer, so I am happy with that

CarWOW is way better than Motorway they are micky mouse...try getting someone on the phone you can understand who speaks clear english...........
then hope your winning auction bidder has the actual funds as Motorway seem to have poor vetting rules around that aspect 
Motorway was flawless for me.
The buyer (A BMW dealership) was going to use Carwow for collection, but they were a few days more than we both wanted, so sorted another company to collect.
It was the guys first day on the job, really decent chap, and being new it all went by the book and he was very thorough with looking the car over. once he was happy he phoned the dealer and the money was in my account before the driver had finished his tea !
I am very pleased with Carwow, I have used them for maybe 12 years for buying cars and they have saved me a good wack. the selling experience was equally good. I bought the car for £23366 in August last year, and the buyer paid me the full agreed amount of £22651. So I lost £715 in around 7 months, I don't feel I can complain about that
Used car prices seem to be bizarre at the moment.
They all seem to be in such a narrow band of prices, because most dealers don't seem to want to charge less than £10k for anything that isnt ancient/falling apart.
ie the difference between what you can get for £12k/£13k compared to £15/16k is huge. Makes no sense.
It means you just have everything from a certain year or two window sort of bunched up in the same price range, regardless of what it actually is.

Dealers are protecting their margins as they are not selling many new cars at all! Most EV are going on leases usually to someone via a company scheme which is heavily subsidised
dealers do not get much out of those deals at all!So if your a seller use Car WOW or Motorway or try privately the dealers will lowball you by a large amount of £££
If your a buyer its a good time to buy certain cars as they are depreciating rapidly (30% is not uncommon for 1 year old cars that's just insane!).
....i suppose this would be good...if new car prices weren’t so ridiculous/hadn’t gone up ridiculously compared to wages.

I know what you mean. I was toying with the idea of selling my jag which has depreciated by about 45% in the 2 1/2 years I have owned it but it’s worth about 11k and to get anything remotely newer I’d have to spend another 4-5k for something g from VAG group!
