BMW and M Power Owners

Under £30k from a BMW dealer, with the right options (it's ex-demo).

It was an added bonus it was in the our preferred colour combo (black/cream).
Sounds like a good deal, no idea what the going rate is tho.
Took me just over 3 and half months for the right M340i Touring to come up with the spec I wanted, mileage and in the right colour (Dravit). Was definitely worth the wait though.
Would you mind sharing how much you paid, what year, mileage and roughly when you bought it? The prices seem all over the place currently.. I actually prefer the look of the touring over the saloon.

Is the MHEV/MHT fairly reliable?

I've been looking for a 128ti for a while, I want all the options Inc pan roof in white but they just don't seem to come around! Probably going to settle for a storm bay one without the tech pack, hopefully I don't regret it :D

Thanks mate. Yeah I've read the bridgestones are a bit sub-par, this one has the mich pilot sports on.
That sounds a bit lower than I was hoping, I've seen some people reporting up to 50mpg on a run 60-65mph in eco pro, does that sound a bit optimistic?
We've got one. Switching the bridgestones for pilot sports pretty much eliminated the wheelspin - so much better. It does less than 40 mpg on a motorway run.

Some are more than 30k, from an Indy, some are 30k from an Indy but not the right spec. There are currently 14 in the country under 35k, even fewer under 30k, that aren't dogs.

Well, I guess it's time to update this thread with my thoughts on my G87 M2 now that I've had it a few weeks and done 300 miles (exactly!). It's difficult not to compare it to the F80 as that's my most recent car. I'll just summarise with bullet points as otherwise I'll end up droning on!
  • Interior comfort, feel and tech is leaps and bounds ahead
  • Steering wheels is a welcome change from Alcantara, but still too bloody fat. Why BMW, why?
  • Steering feel is numb, but extremely accurate
  • Noise is nice, I thought I'd miss the aggressive pops and bangs from the MPE but I find myself liking what I hear (despite not being able to rev it out, or use full throttle). I get that there's some fake stuff going on but whatever
  • Handling is immense, it's properly stuck to the road
  • Gone is the rear end nervousness over bumps experienced in the F80. You can still feel the car moving underneath you but it's in no way unsettling like it could be at times before
  • The dual screen is lovely and nice to use. I thought it would take a lot longer to get used to it but it's all very intuitive and easy to read
  • Apple Car Play is amazing with the larger higher res screen
  • Economy is a welcome change, I can get over 35 mpg on a run, I'd struggle to get 30 in the F80. I recon I could hit 40 mpg on a longer run which for a near 500 bhp car is nuts
  • The BMW app is much improved due to the iDrive version no doubt, things like being able to see the economy, past trips, tyre pressures etc is great
  • Rear legroom is less than I thought with the M sport seats. Half of me wishes I'd have gone for the buckets but then I remember the faff of getting in and out of them - and the fact I'll never sit in the back. Child fits in nicely which is what matters
  • Wing mirrors are far superior, I can see more and the blind spot warning is much better compared to the F80 version
  • Boot is deceptively large
  • Disabling speed limit & lane departure warnings has become second nature
  • Day to day the ZF8 is better. Auto hold, creep and the 8th gear add to that. Using the paddles below 4k rpm seems very snappy, although not quite DCT snappy. Time will tell but I think the day to day usability of the gearbox will win me over any of the downsides when pressing on
  • For those not sure on the looks, go see one in a nicer/bolder colour. It looks great, and has serious road presence. Pictures don't do it justice
  • The RIS period is a pain, how on earth do people deal with it. So annoying
Is there anything I miss about the F80 so far? Maybe the cold start now and then if it's not 4am and the exhaust nice time to time. Also surround view! But apart from that I struggle to think of anything.
Sounds mega. You not tempted to drive it up and down the M1 or something to stick another 500 miles on it? :p
Rear space is smaller than the F87 for some reason.. Glad you're enjoying it. Still jealous :(

This popped up yesterday, very weird process to view the car - have to put down a 300 deposit, agree price over the phone and wait 5 days for them to prep the car just to view it..

3 owners and I think they gave me the wrong reg as it's showing 47k on last MOT. But everything matches, very strange...

The styling suggests it was probably owned by someone who uses the word bruv and launches from traffic lights. Black wheels with an additional black spoiler.

got one of those appointment only autroader dealers near us, lists on gumtree too
... assume it is owners listing via 'credible' 3rd party and still using the car, who'll sell if the price is right

I didn't want to go and view it, but my dad is like a 5yo, I hope something comes up soon, as even my mum is getting fed up.

REG: YH70FXZ
VIN: WBA5U92010FJ64282

MOT in 2023 at 33k and failed on suspension.

Anyone wants to sell theirs, or is planning to?

Seen it, poor condition, has really bad vibrations and it's overpriced. Oh and it had a respray on both sides.
5 series touring is out of the equation.
MHT and it's black.
It's White, mileage and price too high.
White, mileage etc..
Too many owners for such a low mileage car, it's also an ex demo car.
