After bemoaning the faff of disconnecting/reconnecting my battery to attach/further faff with accessories I was reminded I bought a PDM60 about 7 or 8 years ago. I failed to fit it to my old K1300S as if you look under the seat you'll find the globe trotting super machine has zero under seat storage.
Luckily the KTM 1290 GT is chock full of... air under the rear seat so I finally did some crimping, soldering etc and fit the thing. It essentially means I can attach idiot things like a rear USB port, or the heated gear tail, or the dashcam I'll probably never buy, without having to ram even more eyelets onto the battery terminals.
Only problem now is I need to find a way to make it tidy. Maybe 3D print some enclosure. Oh and because it's so old the software to configure it won't work on my Macbook, and i no longer have a Windows laptop! I really don't want to have to disconnect everything again and bring it inside to connect to my desktop.
