Regarding both, I got FOMO and bought the FE early on today. Gibbo said Astral tomorrow but it came early and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it, ence why the FOMO.

So the Astral goes to my wife's PC and the FE I'm returning

It's free with any 50 series purchase that's a 5070 or above, not just the FE, but yeah.

Not the first time they've done this I don't think? I know my launch 3080 came with watchdogs legion but I get the feeling the 40 series didn't have a free game till a few months after launch. Of course this time it feels a bit worse since the 5090 has only really been somewhat available for the past few weeks lol. Where as the 4090 had decent stock on launch.

So our huge shipment of Palit GameRock 5090 has landed, these shall be going live in a few minutes and also include copy of DOOM for FREE.

They will be from £2099 and we have 500 units, the cooler on this card is massive with great cooling performance and low noise.

If you want to guarantee delivery pre-bank holiday weekend I do advice selecting Pre-Noon delivery or Saturday delivery to ensure you have it Saturday or sooner, though we have several hundred the stock may sell out fast.
 
Why is the Gainward 5090 Phantom much more expensive than the Gamerock? They seem to use the same heatsink and PCB.

When it comes to the 5080 the Gamerock is the more expensive one. Again they share PCB and heatsink and I think the Gamerock is intended to be the more premium option because of how flashy the fan shroud is.

They charge us so much more. In fairness this £2099 is very little margin for both us and Palit, especially once we factor in the $100 cost per card shipping. :eek:

Yes, I did edit the comment to just mention the 5090 FE knowing all 50 series get the offer. :D

I got Modern Warfare 2019 with my 2080 Super, these offers have been going on for a long time. I guess they are only offering it now all the range are more readily available.

Fast air freight for such heavy volumetric items is damn expensive, but it made sense to get them here before bank holiday weekend and of course to be the only stockist of 5090 at this price point for a well cooled card, as we have so many we are hoping our supply will remain in stock the entire weekend, fingers crossed, of course not complaining if they do sell out but it is just nice when a better price is in stock that it stays in stock so all get a chance to grab one. :)

Yep great that OcUK are doing this. I was to impatient to wait for cheaper prices :)
 
Must been a big batch as I never get in on time but now have a 5090FE but want the astral :( (first world problems).
