NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

update on today's FE drop from the discord group, surprised it stayed in stock as long as it did but good to see people getting the card at the best possible price :D

30/04/2025 UK FE Restocks Breakdown

At 14:01pm, we saw the RTX 5090 Founders Edition card restock in the UK. The initial restock lasted **4 minute and 41 seconds**, this was followed by **1 further restock 14:15pm (lasted: 55 seconds)**.

At the same time we saw the RTX 5080 Founders Edition cards restock. The restock is now sold. The RTX 5070 Founders Edition was available before this restock and still is as well.

Why is the Gainward 5090 Phantom much more expensive than the Gamerock? They seem to use the same heatsink and PCB.

When it comes to the 5080 the Gamerock is the more expensive one. Again they share PCB and heatsink and I think the Gamerock is intended to be the more premium option because of how flashy the fan shroud is.

Same with the Zotac Solid and Infinity. Same cooler, same basic shroud design. Infinity has more RGB and a mirror front end. I've seen no difference in performance or cooling between the two in the few reviews out there, but normally hundreds between them in price.

Zotac Solid OC and Infinity have same clocks, same cooler but the infinity has RGB and mirror for £10 more on OCUK

I got my 5090 yesterday do I qualify for doom the dark ages Gibbo?

How many power cables are you using 3 ? 4 ? I have and use the lian li strimer for the graphics card ..
Three is sufficient. Explanation here:
This is the first time i have owned a higher end card from Giga I generally tend to not get them.

I run most of my 5090's roughly around the 3.0 ghz mark and +3000 on the memory. Memory is easy enough to do.

I am ngl i have been pleasantly suprised by this card. Generally i dont like all black cards and i really wanted the ice version as i like all white cards.

I have been playing with it every spare moment i get and have been enjoying it immensely so much so that the astral Lc that arrived today with it is still in the box unopened and sealed.

I knew you had the giga xtreme waterforce. And i almost bought one to go with my suprm liquid and astral lc but i want to upgrade my monitor setup.
Max memory overclock on 5090s is +375. Anything above that will be ignored.

Stock is actually hanging around now on quite a few sites. I wonder why
The pool of people who will pay £2000+ for a GPU isn't huge. Most of those people tend to want to be early adopters (if you want the fastest GPU around, you want it for as long as possible), so you get a lot of early demand. But I'm not surprised that things would slow down a bit once the early surge has been catered to/

Oh ****, what have I done....

The rainforest caught me when I was half asleep this morning and I ordered the Aorus WB for 2900.

Been telling myself for weeks that no 5090 is worth 50%+ more than the FE and I'm going nowhere near 3k for a card, but here we are. Now I know what it feels like to be a massive hypocrite.

Apparently today already 30+ people have bought the palit 5090 for £2099. I am kind of surprised by that.

Offt, good product with 4 year warranty and saves you the hassle of doing it yourself. Look forward to updates and fitted pictures.
This was on my list, but now have Astral LC at same price, glad I missed it :D
