Best Sim-Only plans? EE/Vodafone/VOXI / Others?

Been with Three for about 15 years now, maintaining a decent sim only deal of unlimited calls/texts/data for £15 a month. Every time they force me to upgrade and I call them and argue and keep more or less the same price.

This time around I thought it'd be worth changing, so got a 1p mobile sim, got it all set up, but oddly I found the EE speeds weren't as fast as three, and I had even fewer signal bars in parts of the house. I'm sure it'd be better out and about, but given a significant % of our time is spent at home, unfortunately cancelled it and with a deep sigh locked into another 2 year extension with Three.
 
I upgraded my EE SO deal last week or so and really happy with it.

£28 a month for unlimited everything, max speeds, free data on my watch as well as Apple One. So I've been able to cancel my AppleTV subscription and get a free 50GB on top of my 2TB iCloud account.

That happens because Three has the fastest 5G network, but only in perfect conditions for them. Out and about, EE network is best.

If you have coverage issues at home, you can try Wi-Fi calling with 1pMobile?

Not my experience in our area - I'm with Three and my wife has historically been with Orange/EE and she always had dreadful service compared to my coverage!

Very much dependent upon where abouts you are in the country but my experience with EE for my home broadband has been dire so I'll never use them for mobile ever again! (and as soon as my contract for broadband is up, that will be going elsewhere too!)

Their customer service is amongst the worst I've ever experienced!
 
Just a tip. If you need mutch roamingdata, you can buy a orange france esim topup 30 euro and you have 250GB all for europe ;) No i am not working for them, but its pay as you go

Check 1pMobile and Mozillion. You'll have 5G, VoLTE and WiFi Calling with no caps. Also free roaming and it's cheap compared with going with EE direct.

There are some more companies on the EE network. Check Uswitch, saveahead or moneysavingexpert. Though I wouldn't recommend Spusu.

After 12 months of using both Smarty (Three) and Talk Home (EE) today I have decided to go with Talk Home.
We travel all over the country and when Three doesn't work Talk Home always does but never the other way around because Talk Home works everywhere.
I got a £7.49 for 50gb deal which is more than ample for me.
 
I'm with spusu on EE.
EE are my only option as the rest are fairly poo for super rural coverage.

Im paying 6.5 for 15gb

Where did you get this? That's only a pound more than my spusu and over 3x more data!

3 are garbage for local signal. Wouldn't even use them If it was free (pun intended)

I’m with Spusu who use EE. Pay £12.90/month for 50GB. Doesn’t seem too bad and EE have the best signal in my experience
