EV general discussion

Will have a better look later it is quite basic though.
My e-208 doesn't cut off at 80%. I basically just have to tell the app to put in a particular percentage.

If I arrived home with 20% I'd have to tell the octopus app to put 60% back in. I think it just does it by using the cars capacity 51kw and adds 60% of that.

Ok that’s good at least it can be done with charger or Octupus app. Thanks

After 7 months the first problem with my model y.

The alarm went off at 03:30 this morning because the drunk was open....which it wasn't.
Then this morning I went to drive and it's got a front latch sensor fault which says requires service... In this state it won't let me drive.

I've booked a service appointment..but the soonest they had is two weeks away...plus I can't actually drive it to a service centre...

So, anyone else had similar? Will they send a mechanic to me or a flat bed trailer ? I really really cannot be without a car for two weeks..

Hypervolt was installed on Friday and I signed up to IOG today so will be testing it out tonight :D

Why do you need to wait until tonight, unless you aren't at home? The entire point of IOG is the 'I' bit, if you plug in now and set your schedule you might get some 7p slots just in time for Eurovision to start. :)

Rather spoon out my eyes or sit in a car with journey than watch that crap. But he’ll be here to tell us we are wrong for not thinking like him no doubt :)

Just how much energy do you think it takes to change the channel over?

It’s already plugged in but it’s chosen from 4.30am as the first slot.

If you get a slot outside of the overnight window. Is it just the EV use that gets that reduced rate?

You can ask for a mobile appointment but as it stands it sounds like you’ve booked it in at a service centre so that’s where it will get fixed.

You can ask for a curtesy car assuming its warranty but they may not have one available.
Call roadside if it needs towing, they will arrange for it to be recovered.

I have an Ohme E Pod - With our Renault we are able to “Pair” the vehicle with Ohme, this allows Ohme access to the Battery Percentage of the car so for examples sake, if the car is on 50% and I have it set to charge to 100% it automatically works out that it’s adding 50% and will cost X Amount and be done by…
