The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

What's everyone's temp on their 9070s while gaming?
I got a pulse and been playing hell divers, space marines 2 and overwatch for hours. According to adreline my gpu temp doesn't go over 45c..
Haven't tweaked it at all. Seems very low and fans aren't even close to 100%

GPU temp, hot spot temp or memory temp?
My GPU temp is usually pretty low but the memory and hot spot usually shoot up pretty quick.

Hi guys.
In my country;

Gigabyte Gaming oc model is 865 Dollars in 3 installments without interest.

The Taichi model is 1020 Dollars in 6 installments without interest on ***elsewhere***

The Nitro model is 1000 Dollars in 6 installments without interest on ***elsewhere***

I am a gamer who does uv/oc and uses the card to its fullest extent. I have no aesthetic expectations such as rgb or appearance. My only expectation is performance. When viewed from this perspective, does the gigabyte gaming oc model provide the same performance or oc performance as the others?
Or should I prefer nitro or taichi?

By the way, the nitro models here come with Samsung VRAM. Taichis come with Hynix.

Samsung VRAMs work cooler as far as I can see. However, it is said that Hynix is better in terms of OC performance. I would be very happy if you could comment on this situation.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Acer in their wisdom have copied sapphire so we have two nitro models. To be honest I’d go for the sapphire model all day long. No idea about the acer. The Taichi I have had good reports. These models have a bigger power target. The gigabyte model will be slightly lower. In theory the higher power target models you should get better performance. Your mileage will vary.

46-56

3 hours of crusader kings and it sat at 46c / warzone its goes up and down but mostly around 50c the fans just tick along at low speed

or completely off at times

So until recently I have been using a Gigabyte OC 9070 in a Ryzen 3600 system (was able to procure the gpu very cheap) and running 3dMark would boost the core clock to 3200 and give me a score of 7000 (close or over I cant remember) but now that I have upgraded to a 7800X3D the core doesn't boost past 2500 mhz and 3Dmark only gives me a score of 6000. Im using the same -30% power limit and Voltage Offset to -110 and still no boost (doesn't matter what settings I try its always the same.) Any ideas what I may need to change? Power Plan is set to maximum performance and all my system is new components with a fresh windows install

EDIT: Ignore as I was setting the power limit to -30 when it should have been +10 :o Now hitting 3200 in core

Easy done.

Thank you for reply mate. I mean Sapphire Nitro.

I got Nitro 9070xt for the gigabyte gaming oc's price but Taichi is still in my mind :D

Asrock Taichi models are at the top in 3dmark steelnomad tests. Is this a coincidence or do the silicon qualities of this model always seem good? Should I stay with Nitro or should I add $90 more and buy Taichi?

I am very undecided. Please, I am waiting for your comments.

I would keep it unless the main thing you do is chasing leaderboard positions.

As Michty says, the Nitro, for out of the box clocks and performance, is one of the best 9070XTs. When it is beaten, it is typically by very little to the point you wouldn't necessarily even notice with a framerate counter; and in some benchmarks/reviews, it came out more consistent than some of the other high end 9070XT models; as its overall a well balanced card.
As you're gaming and not chasing the highest numbers, stick with what you've got and enjoy it; its one of the best 9070XT models on the market; and as its using the Honeywell Thermal Pads rather than paste; you shouldnt even need to worry about thermal paste deterioration over the next few years, as long as the fan and heatsink remain clean.

This pretty much sums it up.
For the Nitro+ I did hold the top score for some time and still do on the vulkan test.
I suspect the current top spot was an anomaly as the current holder can't come close to his score again.
Regardless, the top cards are all within reach of each other once at a stable OC. If I were you, I would be more interested in looking at what runs the coolest. For my nitro+ it sits in the low 40s GPU core and memory sitting in the high 60s/low 70s which I'm happy about as many people have memory temps into the 80s/90s.
