But the Born (and ID.3) are not some unusable mess that some of those typical reviews claim. You know, the ones where they have a car for two hours or even just a day and post a “review”.
What numbers are you using ?born could do with some ozempic too, the french as usual a bit slimmer 1.5t 500kg less - should be able to feel that on the bends I can feel +150 on my newer car.

I have no idea what it is like on the Born but far too many cars these days the implementation of controls leaves you wondering what on earth they were thinking if not something that really should NOT have gone into a production car and while in some cases you might get somewhat used to them after a few drivers they are never in a good/ideal place. From the reviews it sounds like an implementation that just wouldn't sit well with me no matter how many times I drove the car.

Which controls from reviews ?

I do ignore him now the forum populace seems to have woken up too. I dont need a magic button though. Dont deflect your poor value post on to other though please. - I called you out and you didnt like it. Own it. Dont reviews cars you havent driven.

Nothing weird on the born. Sounded like you were basing your view on reviews ? What did you mean by ‘from the reviews’ The steering wheel buttons aren’t an issue in my experience despite reading many reviews complaining about them. The only slightly odd control is the physical window two buttons that need a rear button to switch to rearsI'm talking about driver relevant controls in general - it seems lately EV, even more so than ICE, makers are trying to outdo each other in weird approaches, I guess to try and stand out, there is nothing wrong in most cases with more traditional driver focussed approaches.

Best use of any apple product I've ever seen..
You need to re read your post then as it’s confusingI didn't offer a view on the Born?!?
Called me out on what? this is EV general discussion is it not? I did not offer an opinion on the Born. You might want to go back and read my post again...
Let me just remind you "I have no idea what it is like on the Born..." - maybe an apology in order?
