Games you're playing, and games...

Oblivion Remastered, it looks nice and all that, I'm enjoying it to a point, but I'm finding it a bit dated and dull, I completed it on PC back in the day and loved it back then from memory, could be a case of rose tinted glasses for me unfortunately, I will see it through though.

Once I'm done with this I've got Indy, Forza, Expedition 33 and Mindseye all in sights.

Played the first hour or so of the new Doom yesterday. Pretty average. Nothing bad about it, nothing particularly good either. I'll likely not bother going back to it.

Fantasy Life i : The Girl Who Steals Time - giving me huge nostalgia for the original game back on 3DS. I can see me grinding this game for dozens and dozens of hours.

My thoughts too. I'll pick it up in a sale in a year or so like I did with Doom Eternal for about 9 quid. Neither are a patch on Doom 2016, imo.

It's my thoughts on all the gamepass titles with very few exceptions. That's the beauty of gamepass, no regrets and you don't waste hours of your time pushing through a game to justify your purchase.

( Expedition 33 )

I thought I was done, stopped before the final boss and backtracked intending mop things up. Struggled to complete some quests or access a few areas so decided to crack on. Low and behold there's more in store.

Great game, still delivering the goods and the environments just get better and better.

Starship troopers extermination!

Loving the simplicity of the game, grew up watching the films, the first one is obviously the best !

Usually find me on it most evenings having a quick causal game!

I’m currently working through The Precinct I’m enjoying it so far.

Bought this a couple of days ago and I wasn't too sure about it at first, but the more you play it and start unlocking things/progressing through it, the more I'm enjoying it. I like how you can basically explore the open world aspect and deal with crimes being committed around the city, and then go for the main missions as and when they crop up.

The third person perspective takes a bit of getting used to and I wish there was even a basic and rudimentary zoom in/out ability but again its not a huge issue. The setting is spot on, 1980's music and feel.

Incidentally, I gave the Police Simulator recently released for free on Gamespass a go and its pretty dire........as is the Firefighter Squad simulator.

Still absolutely loving this, no idea how far I have got left but just
beat Renoir, what a battle! Not sure if this is a spoiler but anyway :p
The more you do these fights the more muscle memory kicks in and you find yourself on auto pilot :D
Also I thought the voice actor for Maelle sounded familiar, had to Google it and yes it's Shadowheart from Baldurs Gate 3!
The music during the fight is incredible

Absolute state of Mindseye. I thought it looked quite promising and was sneaking under the radar a bit. Looks total rubbish. Why do they release games like this? Does the person in charge never play test it or do they actually think its acceptable?

Tried to platinum Exp 33 but struggling with 2 optional bosses, brilliant game so maybe go NG+.

However switched to Lies of P DLC and finding the bosses damn hard, I've forgotten the mechanics and need a refresher. Still good though.

# Continued from my NG+ which was legendary stalker, explains why my a** is getting handed to me on a plate.

Bought and finished Ender Magnolia in a few days - sequel to Ender Lilies. They're pretty good metroidvanias, enjoyed all the boss fights which were challenging but not too hard, and particularly the first game has a great plot and artwork, I thought.

Loved both of these games and did 100% playthroughs when Ender Magnolia was released in February.

Uncharted 4 Thiefs end on ps5.

Feeling a little bored with the gameplay.

Looks very good though.
I got it for the ps4 and i also got bored of the gameplay etc. I have played the first one on ps3 and that one also i stopped half way through but i finished the 3rd one which i enjoyed.

I should give this another try because everyone sais how good it is etc

Had a few hours on Robocop over the weekend. Some good retro vibes to begin with and the headshots are quite satisfying but beyond that it’s a load of rubbish. Combat is repetitive and sluggish, I had to turn the controller sensitivity right up and I hardly ever do that. The novelty of killing a group of 4 bad guys by throwing a CRT monitor at them gets tiring pretty quickly, the police station stuff is tedious, voice acting is awful and graphics in the cutscenes look like a 360 game. Paid a fiver for it in the MS sale last week which feels about right. I was going to get it at launch actually but think there was something else released at the time, maybe Space marine 2 so I didn’t bother.
Won’t be going back to it.
