Have you noticed the price on CDKeys for Silent Hill F?

Looks like the same pricing as Doom the Dark Ages.

This game is so unstable on my system.

Unless i verify the files each time before I start, it can just randomly crash.

Any advice? 3900x, 32gb ddr 4 and 9070 with latest drivers.

All other games are perfect btw inc gta 5, HZFD, Cyberpunk etc.

UE5 games like to crash if your CPU is overclocked or undervolted, even if it appears stable in everything else
Make sure everything is stock and then try

Recently completed it again for the second time (finished it this week) no crashes, same as from the vanilla version and all patches that followed.
Stutters, but that's UE5 for you.
I have played it on both Nvidia and AMD GPU's and neither had issues.

I had a similar issue with hell divers, I took out a stick of ram and the crashes stopped. Guess some games are good at finding those little issues with memory?

Something about silent hill f just doesn't do it for me.
Maybe the combat, maybe playing as a little girl in what looks like a school outfit, not sure, something is off.

It seems odd to me that F is set in a completely different country to where Silent Hill even is. There have been a few other games in the series that didn't start in Silent Hill but from memory they all ended up there at some point.
Combined with what looks like school girl dark souls gameplay feels to me like they just slapped the Silent Hill branding onto a completely unrelated game.

That being said, I still think as a game it looks alright and I'll probably be getting it depending on how it reviews in the lead up to launch.

I'm sure I read something from one of the devs saying once 2 was done they were glad they could do there own thing/venture into different style games.

Probably wait until it is much cheaper, which is my current thing with silent hill 2!

Different dev teams. Bloober Team did the Silent Hill 2 remake, and then made Chronos: The New Dawn that came out last week. They're now working on a Silent Hill 1 remake.

Silent Hill F is being made by NeoBards Entertainment, who previously did a few console ports of Resident Evil games.

F does not look like its worth £69.99 RRP to me I know you can get it a bit cheaper on cdkeys (watch those keys sellout fast!) but still does not look that good overall...SH2 was terrific though....shame that team is not doing the next one!
