360 AiO for 9950x3d

I hope artic change the vrm fan as I'm on my third one.
Is that on a II/II Pro/III/III Pro? Did you find you really needed it? As most don't come with them? It seemed a bit gimmicky to me? I know it does do something temps wise, but I don't really see it stopping any kind of bottleneck if there is one due to heat in that area?
Most motherboards have pretty hardcore VRM cooling anyway these days I thought?

Freezer 3 420 mm, nah don't need the vrm fan as I have the 140s on the rad blowing over them.
I take it your supplier just sent out a replacement on an exchange basis, and didn't expect you to remove the entire AIO and go without? I'll just unplug mine if it misbehaves

Just showed them a video and they send it out, great customer service.
Awesome, that's what we like to hear! Customer service done right! Did you just bin your old one or did they send you a label to post it back?
Was that purchased from OCUK or elsewhere?
Did it just fail completely or just make a nasty noise all of a sudden?

I was aloud to keep it, they all started to rattle, so the first one I stopped the fan with tape and used it like that till the new on arrived, no didn't get it from ocuk.

My 420mm AF II and III have been fine, in regards to their VRM fans. However, both of them are now boxed, not sure if and when they will be used again.
I decided to downsize to a Corsair Nautilus 360, very similar performance to the AF but allows more case options as needed. Also, as noted, no need to remove the retention bracket for 1700 / 1851 fittings.
Very pleased so far with that AIO.

At least with Arctic you tend to have decent customer service.

Nice and easy resolution then :) Ah that's annoying, was this when they first came out?
Do you think you just got unlucky with a bad badge?
What sort of sound am I looking out for exactly? A subtle one or loud? Or does it get worse over time?

I tend to have terrible luck, so hopefully for once I don't
