Oasis Tickets

Let’s be honest. He’s never been a technically great singer and always sounded pretty sloppy live even in their so called peak.

I mean it’s Oasis, the definition of bang average musicians playing bang average four chord rock. Liam is the perfect fit.

Well, that's the thing, people aren't paying to hear beautiful singing. They're paying for nostalgia and to see one of the biggest bands this country has ever seen. The majority of people attending won't be able to hear his voice over the crowd singing along anyway.

Whatever your personal opinion, people won't stop paying good money to see bands or musicians who are well past their prime. There are plenty of performances that I've enjoyed despite being technically poor.

Edit: Ah, I see you've edited your post to take out the bit about people paying hundreds or thousands to see them ;)

From the stories told by their ex road manager its a shock they could function at all. He said at one point there were 14 of them putting £50 each into a £700 a day drugs buying kitty

Currently in the pre sale queue for their Melbourne shows. Gone from position 5800 to 3826 in 4 minutes since midday so fingers crossed.

In case anyone is willing spend big bucks to see Oasis, I just spotted that there are still ‘hospitality’ (and accessible) tickets for the Manchester dates.

The hospitality ticket is £270 each. I’ve had ‘diamond VIP’ tickets for Hyde Park BST before and having access to nice bars and seating was actually pretty fab… but it’s too much for me for Oasis!

If there were any, they’ve gone now :(

havent kept up, but have the tickets they supposedly cancelled been relisted, being asked in work from jealous colleagues:D

I've seen some videos, they look pretty crap. But, the crowd seemed to be loving it. Bet it's hell of an experience, but not totally gutted I missed out.

Sounded like is was very good from the various reviews and reports.

BBC did a text update livestream from the crowd.
There was also one on variety.com.

Wild. I've never seen the BBC do a live updates page for a music event.

Edit: Apart from Glastonbury, which I think they are partner or something for.

My sister, bro in law, nephew and his girlfriend went - they are all still buzzing and it was worth every penny and they paid nearly £500 each.
My sister and husband have seen them several times.
I was lucky to see them in a small pub in Stoke called The Wheatsheaf and then I helped to book them for Trentham Gardens along with Cast and Ocean Colour Scene (on different nights).

Saw them twice on the 'Bere Here Now' tour (Glasgow, Cardiff) and once on the Familiar to Millions (Wembley, not the infamous Saturday night gig).

No way I'd pay £500

My mates were there and interviewed by the bbc & Reuters they said they sounded great. Videos I saw they sounded great as well far better than I expected.

Clips I've seen from last night looked excellent. The setlist was brilliant - all songs were 1994-97 except Little by Little. A real retrofest.

I'm glad I shelled out for Wembley tickets.
