Started Dredge just after 6pm last night and before I knew it, it was 1am. Loving this game!
It's very addictive! I recently finished it and I think they have the length just right so that it doesn't become boring.
I'm contemplating getting the additional content.
My problem with Homeworld 3 was that the campaign was blink-and-you-miss-it short. Despite some lavish (if slightly boring) cutscenes, it still ends up feeling like the usual modern RTS extended tutorial to hurry you over into mulitplayer and get you spending on cosmetics.Nearly finished Homeworld 3. The reviews weren't great for it, but as a casual player I've really enjoyed it. Just wish the campaign was longer and more complex.

The Iron Rig DLC certainly has a lot to do! I seem to have strayed off the main path and focused on this bit at the minute as it has lots of upgrades for your boat.
Started KCD 2, only a couple of hours in, but really liking it. I was about half way through the first one and gave up on it as couldn't get on with the combat. It seems a lot better in the sequel so far.
Yeah would agree. As a casual player who remembers the original but didn't remember how to actually play it, I've enjoyed the campaign but it does just feel like an extended tutorial. And now, on the last mission, it sounds like things are finally getting real and I'm at the end. Disappointing. My problem with Homeworld 3 was that the campaign was blink-and-you-miss-it short. Kudos to Tempest Rising for actually putting some care into the solo side of the game.
Yep, works fine on LinuxI fancy getting into Two Point Hospital tonight. Looks good for Linux compatabilty. Roll on 5pm!!
If you go steady, overlap fields of fire and leave some action points for reactions then it's pretty straightforward. Don't walk into a new area without some backup and enough points to get back out. Once you get a bit further in you can cheese it.UFO: Enemy unknown - first mission, easy diff level, I get killed, all my team in first encounter. Was it so hard back in a days?
