What did you do to your bike today?

Ah good luck! What will a fork service include exactly? Will you be doing fork seals? That's something I fear is on the horizon, and forks is the only big thing I've yet to ever mess with.
Thank you! Yeah new fork seals and dust covers as well as new oil . Honestly, its a fairly straightforward job on most bikes but its time consuming. Just be methodical and take loads of notes/pics!

What sort of problems did you get? It had 6k miles on it when you purchased it?
Hope you enjoy the SP!

6k when I got it in feb.
Headlights set on fire, cost £200 eBay.
Cheers, the mt09 sp is ablast & much more suited to me. Did a big day yesterday, all Lakeland passes, Penrith over hartside pass to Hexham.
On to near Darlington, then south to Bernard castle, Richmond, leyburn, middleham & kettlewell.
320 miles, loved it

Waved good bye to it as it was loaded onto the van. Sold it to a we buy any bike type place in the end to get away from dealing with numpties on FB/Gumtree/AT. £3.5k not bad considering I think I bought it for £5k 4 and a half years ago.

Test rode it after it dying on me and getting recovered. Gave the carbs a little clean and a rejet as it'd been running rich. Also treated the tank for rust. Not great results on the test ride... Managed to get home as I only took it around the block but it crapped out on me turning back onto my road.

First thing I did when getting it back was checked spark. Nothing. Checked battery. Fine. Checked connector to coil, getting voltage. Swapped out coil for a replacement, spark returned! Put old one back, no spark, new one again, spark. Bad coil.

So that's good... but, the HT leads are too short, and are touching the engine. I think I can get some longer plug caps rather than having to extend the HTs, only need a few more cm...

At least its an easy enough fix!
