BMW and M Power Owners

Completely stock. I'd like to make some cosmetic changes over time. I don't like the black alloys and would love if I could swap for the cerium grey ones. Maybe some M Performance parts but it looks smart as is.
I like when the car has a sleeper look and takes people by surprise. I had a 116d badge on my M140i running Stage 2

Glad you said that. Colour combo inside and out is great otherwise.

Really hoping this black wheels trend dies off soon.
There's sooo many m340i Shadow Edition, they look like base spec cars, bottom of the range... On some cars the chrome delete/blacked out look is actually better, but on the M340i its not IMHO...

Depends on the colour in my opinion. With the Tanzanite blue, black doesn't suit it, especially as the rest of the trim is Cerium Grey. But spec wise, it had everything else I wanted so can't complain too much.

I guess black fully blacked out is ok'ish, stealthy, but what other colour suits it? I think the worst one is White.

It took me ages to find one with a good specification but without that pack. From 2021 onwards it also added the shadow headlights and exhuast as well as the wheels and the front grille. Just makes it look like every other 3 Series, I like the way the grey trim looks on the standard M340i.

Are you sure? I didn't think they came with that grille and those wheels - if you had the grey grille, you had the grey wheels.

What does your car look like in the My BMW app - that should show its factory specification.
Someone actually specced it to have black wheels... :o:rolleyes:

I have warranty with my 2019 330i. I have the breakdown cover included and £100 excess and it costs £554 a year. So far I’ve had to use it to fix some electrical issues, all of my windows stopped opening/,closing and my mirrors wouldn’t open or close.
Thanks for the reply, I dont need the breakdown cover... so looking at the £100 excess making my quote £467 :)

i'm warrantying my 2018 440i, i paid £359 for the bmw insured warranty with £250 excess for the year
your 330i should be similarly priced, except if you don't already have the bmw insured warranty in which case the first year will be more expensive (+25%?)

as with any warranty products, it's a waste of money if you never use it...
but if you needed to claim on the warranty and did not have it...you'd wish you had it

do i think it's worth it? yes, solely for the peace of mind if anything major goes wrong i'd just shell out £250 instead of £xxxx
Seems to be the same price as yours if I select the £250 excess :)

Its AUC, so had the full year with it already... so should be the discounted rate. It does inform it goes up if I let it lapse first.

Actually, thinking about it, cant believe its nearly been a year!

Is it fair to say the new 5 series has been a sales flop? I've hardly seen any, like maybe 3 or 4 total, but then I'm in Scotland and don't get out and about as much as I used to. Has anyone seen any sales figures? Knows a BMW salesperson who is also saying they're selling like hotcakes and I'm just missing them?

Funnily enough I've seen more M5 G60s than I have any other model.

Looks are subjective I guess, so to me yes they are ugly. I am surprised that they are doing so well, as said by others and myself we havent seen many around
Very it seems, as the top selling car in the UK is currently the Nissan Qashqai, the second being the Puma, there's no accounting for taste. The series 5 is certainly better looking than many 'buses' and suv's around these days and dares to be different.
Take this for example https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/...tley-rivalling-yangwang-brand-european-launch
