I've got 30 mins left to watch currently and the fact I'm replying to this should tell you what I think so far.28 Years Later - WTF/10.
Well… that was genuinely absolute ****. Honestly awful.
Only good thing to come of it was the boy who played Spike and the trailer and it’s use of ‘Boots’. I guess they were looking to do something original, and sort of did, but original in this instance does not equate to good.
Least the first half of the first film exists.
Yes, sadly I was really hoping it was a case of being a little of a marmite film having read comments here and elsewhere. But no, it’s genuinely just awful. And that ending…I've got 30 mins left to watch currently and the fact I'm replying to this should tell you what I think so far.
I'm concerned that most of the complaints I've seen are about the ending and so far it makes Army of the Dead look like a coherent movie.
Sad to see everyone here slating this, I was really looking forward to it28 Years Later - WTF/10.
I didn't think it was that bad. Second half goes downhill and the ending is awful thoughSad to see everyone here slating this, I was really looking forward to it
Edit: Oh god don't get me started on the skull and spine ripping out, how many times do you want to do that? It was so slapstick and looked terrible. [/SPOILER]
Eyes Wide Shut is a xmas movieLethal Weapon.
Such a good movie, even now.
Is this classed as a Christmas movie, same as Die Hard?
Yeah it was absolutely dreadful. No sense of fear or threat anywhere in it, it felt almost slapstick at times. The ending was god awful but by that point I'd given up hope really. There were a few good scenes but a lot of really bad ones.
Thought the opening scene was really poor, not scary at all.
The bit with the gas glowing blue like magic smoke and then them walking away completely unharmed from the explosion was just laughably bad
The whole pregnant woman thing made no sense at all and had no explanation. Felt like the robot zombie from Army of the Dead.
The zombie variants felt like they saw how popular Last of Us has been so just did a Temu version of that. The Alpha was more comical than scary and what is with all the penises? I've seen less D in pornography.
Ralph Fiennes scenes were pretty good, although the tower of skulls looked a bit fake. It also didn't fit tonally with the rest of the film at all.
Then the ending was just plain stupid but enough has been written about that
Edit: Oh god don't get me started on the skull and spine ripping out, how many times do you want to do that? It was so slapstick and looked terrible.
I'd say it's one of the worst zombie films I've seen and I've seen a fair few.
Why would you keep watching them if you didn't enjoy them?28 Years Later. Incredibly boring.
Watched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later yesterday and didn't enjoy those either.
That is a great question. Why would you keep watching them if you didn't enjoy them?
