Who here plays Supreme Commander Forged Alliance Forever?

I used to love SC:FA but I fell out of love with it because there was a bug where the game would slow to a crawl as more and more units were created. Something to do with the engine not being designed for multi core CPUs so even with a fast PC, every game would end up essentially being played in slow motion. Did FAF fix that? If so I'd probably give it a try. Still got my DVDs somewhere but probably easier just to buy a digital copy.
Wasn’t that down to a 32bit memory limitation/issue. Pretty sure I remember Chris Taylor talking about it in an interview.

It’s a lot better now. When I play with friends we normally play coop with the AI. 3 humans against 5 AI. We do stick a unit cap on to 500 which works really well.

Game was ahead of its time. Crazy we’ve not had any games similar to this in recent years with current tech.
There is a game called Sanctuary which is supposed to be a modern day version, however every time i check the release date it’s slipped buy another year.

I thought 68 was bad until I hovered over it and it said was from 0 to 450...so it's more of a ranking, than a rating I guess :D

68 is amazing, game quality wise anything below 200 is elite, thats why the sub 250 CPU score games exist to reduce slow down.

50 - 68 Is unreal and I imagine the game designers had no idea people would still be playing it with those scores :D
