——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Meh, getting constant crashes with the driver workaround, until\if amd release a compatible one for vega its only a few mins of playtime before a crash occurs.

Anyone have an issue with upscaling? Barely seems to do anything whether I choose off, DLSS or FSR.
12-700k with a 5080 @3440x1440. Ultra settings around 120fps.

Dunno if there's bug or something on my end but the graphics don't look that great to me. Very grainy. Everything maxed out but with film grain, vignette etc turned off.

Edit: actually just fixed it. By default sharpness is at 50% which is too high and looks awful. Turn it down to 25% and game looks nice nicer

Thanks - I will give that a go!

TTK is way to high as others have mentioned, well at distance it feels ok but Close Quarters it barely gives you chance to out aim and out movement someone but I am only 3 Games in so might be an early judgement.

I'm feeling old, I'm watching streams and everyone seems to move so fast!

Finally got in, signed in to EA play with other account played there, then checked twitch and had another free code so used that when signed in to newer email EA play app

7900XTX, 7800X3D and getting around 148fps with most on high

Impressed so far after 3 hours, runs smooth at 4k with maxed settings.

Think shotgun will need a nerf soon due to how many people are running around 1 shotting with it.

4 hours today, overall pretty good. Although sometimes after a round it gitches to a screen and doesn't load so have to exit by alt tab and restart the game. Runs well though.

Only thing me and a friend are having is staying in the same squad when going in to game, both have been party leader, joined a game and other person is not in squad. Anyone else??

TTK is too high imo but not knowing the maps doesn't help either. But current TTK barely gives you chance to react

Lots of playing around to get Secure Boot On (Z170X Gaming 7 Mobo), hopefully give this a go tonight.

Initial view from watching streamers, looks a bit like cod (not really a BF feel for me) - I might just be getting too old

I think for me, I'll buy this game for the single player campaign, if only for the spectacle of it as it looks absolutely fantastic. But from a MP point of view, this doesn't appeal to me at all. Its too much like COD for me, movement speed too high and feels unrealistic and hence not very immersive.

If a game that looked as good as this, with the destructable terrain etc played like Hell Let Loose for example, that would be the perfect game for me. As it stands, BF6 isn't looking like it, unfortunately.

I'm getting confused with the 'TTK too high - no chance to react' comments lol

If the Time To Kill is too high then you have more time to react!
Not overly confusing, probably just making the same mistake as me earlier in the thread, what they actually mean is TTK too low, might be easier if we just use TTK too quick and TTK too slow to avoid any misunderstandings :)

That would be ideal for me too, I like the slower pace of Hell Let Loose and more teamwork in it too. So far, I've found BF6 to be not too bad, its ok, but I had to log out earlier for some RL stuff and I didnt actually mind logging out or miss it when I was - I think thats what the kids today call "mid" :D , whereas when I played Arc Raiders earlier this year I was absolutely gutted about logging out and missed it hugely when the beta for it ended. I could see me dipping my toe in and out of BF6 from time to time but unless its slowed down a little (and by that I dont mean just the TTK but also the pace of the gameplay generally) I think Arc Raiders , although a different genre of shooter, will be my primary shooter.

Going through the video options, its interesting that turning anti aliasing off is labelled "experimental"....wut?
