When it says available to anyone, I assume it means anyone with a code?

I can't just open the EA app and download it?

This is where i am apparently i need to reinstall my windows because my main drive is on MBR instead of guid or something........ :confused: :(

if only they made it so you could play with more than 4 people LOL. last night sat in discord 4 in rest there. you joining just laughing. :p why they havent added you can just join a server for all friends .
 
This is a DLC for 2042. Pink skins will inevitably come in 2026. TTK is way too fast and the conquest maps are tiny. Uninstalled.

I'm a grumpy, old, critical gamer. Always complaining and whining about the current state of gaming and how they release.

This, honestly, is the first time in years I'm just able to boot up, jump in and play. I've put about 10 hours in so far and I'm absolutely loving it as a Battlefield title.

There are issues, but they are heavily outweighed by the positives in my opinion.
 
Can someone explain to me what the difference is between 2042 and this gameplay wise? It seems exactly the same to me.

Had a play, I'd say its faster then old battlefield (BF3) and does feel a lot like Cod. Could be because well I'm older... but not sure it hits the mark for me.

Whether its better then BF3 etc - hard to tell, again as above, likely my views have changed.

I'm very surprised at the maps they have chosen for the beta, to me it would surely make sense to have 1 CQ small map, 1 medium map and 1 large map in the beta. Show off all of the gameplay styles of different map sizes, instead they seem to have opted to show (basically) only the one gameplay style of small maps where you are tripping over enemies every 10 seconds.
