——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I'm enjoying this way more than 2042. I think with the 10 hours early access of 2042 I had at the time I gave up after 2-3 hours. This one I'm already thinking about we I can next have a round.

Not a fan of the Rush game mode in its current guise. Far too heavily weighted for the defenders. Also the NYC map in all its forms it straight up ******* terrible. Other than that, same as last week I feel. Still fun!

I'm not sure on how it could be implemented exactly but moving away from Kill/Death to Tickers for/Tickets lost or something would be great. I regularly play as a medic and the amount of people who needlessly respawn must cost so many matches.
I play as a medic and frankly, people bang on about K and D, I would like to see an R (for Revives) column, so we can see which medics are actually doing revives

Yeah it really surprises me we don't have a revive column on the scoreboard, even 2042 had that.

Why? Are you gonna tell them off for not reviving?

The older games had good reward systems, like wanna unlock a new gun for your medic class, go get 1000 revives

They can do what they want, I want the column so that people can see that I am actually reviving, rather than people thinking that I am running about not doing my medic job. As it stands, if I get 3 kills in a match but do 30 revives, I end up with a pitiful score and when someone looks at the scoreboard it looks like I did virtually nothing all match, having an R column would show that whilst I didnt get the kills, I did revive 30 other people and thus did actually help.

I'm sure in some of the older BF games doing exactly as you do (which I sometimes did a lot of in BF2) you could end up scoring higher than people with loads of kills just from the revives and kills made by those players after you'd revived them!

In BF6 you dont get any points for any kills made by a player you have revived and you get 100pts for a revive. So if I am running about like a loon reviving 30 people and getting say 3 kills, I end up with a score of around 3500 say...which when you look at the scoreboard shows something like K-3 , D-whatever, 3,500. So to other people in the team it looks like I did next to nothing to help the team. I dont think its a massive ask, to simply ask for an R column so that the rest of the team can see that I was helping the team, cant really see why anyone would be against that being added.

Seen someone on reddit do a map breakdown of confirmed maps and it seems we will be only getting 2-3 large maps at launch and yes Liberation Peak is one of them yet thats barely the size of BC2 maps.
That is not a Battlefield game.

Ive gone from being excited about launch to concerned.
I hate to say it but unless we get to atleast see some gameplay of larger maps its a worry.

Why do you care about your score on the scoreboard?

I find myself near top of leaderbord as support. Must be supply bags doing heavy lifting

You are missing the point, its not the score, its my teammates perception of whether or not I am helping the team based upon what they are seeing on the scoreboard, if there was an R column they could see on the scoreboard that I have been helping the team and not just standing around afk or doing nothing all match, as I say I cannot see any logical reason why anyone would have an issue with an R column , but as we are asking questions, you seem to be picking my posts with questions, so based on your replies, here is my question to you, why do you seem to NOT want an R column with revives? Why are you against it?
