Sure, the advantage of aim assist to help someone aim with their thumbs.

If I get outshot by someone on controller, the issue isn't aim assist, the issue is on my side. There are some very, very good controller players - but if you're on mouse and keyboard going up against someone of a similar skill level on controller then mouse and key will win 99% of the time. We can click on heads, they have to awkwardly thumb on heads.
If you are talking about cod aim assist then you are very much wrong.. controller is king on that game without a doubt..

I still hand it to controller players on cod, but I'm an xtremely handy player on KBM, your average KBM player is getting smashed by controller players on cod and thats a fact..

if talking about battlefield then I would say KBM has the slight edge but not seen enough controller play to call it yet.

Netcode seems to have gone right to **** for me tonight, whereas before I got the occassional brrrrr sound and dead in 0.5 sec, its happening LOADS this evening for me, probably 50% of my deaths are the brrrr less than 1 sec kill. They need to sort that out before release, netcode issues will kill an fps fast.

The TTD compared to TTK is a joke.. the netcode is a shambles currently..

The EU servers are is a much worse state than the US ones currently from what I see.

Its funny you mention that because you may be right, I see A LOT less of the brrrr deaths when watching US streamers, so I did wonder if it was an EU issue

Yep, feels like everyone is running aimbot ( They arn't ).

Was fine last weekend

I had great fun playing this for a couple of hours today. Yesterday I asked for recommendations for graphics settings and was told there is no need to tweak anything. On high settings it worked very well on a 7800xt.

It feels like battlefield of old. The guns and progression system will provide some longevity and keep you coming back. Still not sure why you’d play any other class than the support but nonetheless there’s a bit of variety with the class system too.

I’m not sure I will pre order it given Dice’s record but it’s something I’ll keep my eye on with an intention to buy.

haha you obviously havent played modern cods then. as said why do you think people like scump regarded as one of the best modern players play games on controller ? sadly aim assist is just a thing. one of the reasons i love it isnt in pubg. on pc.

Yeah, talking about BF. Aim assist in COD is a bit of a joke at this point.

This is the first Battlefield I've tried with Controller as I've played every single one KBM and it's been surprisingly good.

Since I've been playing COD more recently over the years it's become second nature and feels that way on B6.

I will say there's definitely that snap you get in COD in this game, it feels very similar.

Haven't even felt the need to change over to KBM.

Wow the servers or netcode is a complete mess tonight..

If this is things to come I won't be buying.

I'm hopeless on controller but my son is a demon on both KBM and controller, he says battlefield aim assist when set up correctly is almost as sticky as cod but not like the rotational AA.

have you changed the co efficient settings, as that really helps with mouse feel.
Yeah tried that, matched to my BF4/1 settings but no joy - literally feels like I'm dragging my mouse through molasses at times - had exactly the same issue in 2042.

Tried different mice, polling rates etc. but nothing helps - absolutely fine in the other games.
