I just want them to sort the steering wheel and basic menu and setup systems.I'm concerned about the "improved" physics coming in the next update. EVO is already my favorite in that department. I hope they don't screw it up.
What steering wheel are you using?I just want them to sort the steering wheel and basic menu and setup systems.
I can't get my steering wheel to work full stop, it recognises it's connected but does nothing with it. Using controller the steering is inconsistent

That's a bit weird. I've got the same one and got it working. You do have to manually add and save every button on it from what I remember though.Logitech g923
A mainstream branded wheel from a known supplier, you'd expect it to work.Logitech g923
G29 (G923's PS cousin) is what I'm using and it's working nicely. Make sure the wheel is showing in the Logitech Gaming Software app, sometimes it doesn't and needs rebooting etc.I can't get my steering wheel to work full stop, it recognises it's connected but does nothing with it. Just checked this out for you. You do need to go into controls and select the wheel, then bind each of the controls you want to it.Shows in the app, works with my other games.
Even has a special asseto Corsa evo game setting according to the Logitech software.
I'll have to play around with it, but why can it not just work out the box, recognise it's connected and allow me to adjust a few settings in the menu to get the feel I want and be done with it, plenty of other games do this.

It's also a good idea to bind the UI controls to the D-Pad etc so you don't need to keep going back to the keyboard and mouse.
Also, if you have any other controllers plugged in that you're not going to use with the game and you don't want to unplug, then it's a good idea to unbind any mappings from them as they might be causing a conflict.

My bi-monthly check-in to say I have zero clue what anyone sees in this title, why it exists, or how something could be this poor after like 4 years of development
It still needs a ton of work, it's by far from polished...
What exactly do you expect from 'early access'?
