Kind of disagree with all the youtubers saying this makes the ipad pro like a laptop. It just makes the existing apps easier to multitask, Ipad is still a long way off being a laptop replacement for a lot of users.

its miles off, real laptop users will know the difference is huge. Unless you;re one of these dorky youtubers who only seem to care about video and photo editing

Those of you on the beta, have you tried your phones with carplay? I hear carplay will support screen mirroring in ios26

My 15 pro doesn’t like this at all. Keep pulling it out of pocket to find it on a black screen then rebooting . Started off one every few days then became more often . Hopefully not just a badly timed hardware problem

Surely it’s a perfect time for hardware failure, any excuse for an upgrade

I doubt there will be much difference. It'll mainly just be bug fixes at this stage of development.

The best bit for me has been the call screening. This should have been implemented years ago, so many nuisance callers have been blocked by this service!

Yeah i have turned it off though cause if youre expecting a delivery and you dont look at your phone I found it didnt make a sound and if they dont leave a message

Same here, it could do with making it more obvious a call is being screened. I missed a few calls until I realised what was going on.

Most excited for this one too! I do wish it was as sophisticated as Google's but saylavee.
