Probably less likely to be sued that way as probably some clause against deep fakes when portraying the president. Pretty clever if you ask me, but then they are very smart intelligent guys, so doesn't surprise me with the things they come up with.
What I don't understand is why they cancelled Colbert. The story is that he annoyed Trump and Paramount were worried he would be a baby and put the kibosh on Paramount sale to Skydance for 8bn..
Yet, Southpark is owned and streamed on Paramount+, CBS and Comedy Central. All part of Paramount.
Where's the logic in Southpark being 10x worse.

I think people have just remembered ‘oh it’s South Park being South Park’ - the first episode seemed particularly ballsy noting the ‘criticise us and we’ll crush you’ attitude that has everyone under fear.
I did think episode 2 went much further in their barbed criticism… I’d be surprised if Epstein himself didn’t show up soon considering Satan is around… and so is hell!

Not watched South Park in years tbh, stopped when they brought in the PC Principial, it was weird.
Watched the recent episode and well it's still funny, I also didn't approve of some of the messaging. The Trump stuff, I didn't mind. Probably why so few watch it now compared to it's prime.
I'm sure I've read somewhere that their producer reportedly spent millions on Hunter Biden's legal defence over the years....

dammit i thought i had built up a few eps to watch and nope looks like once a fortnight were getting eps on paramount+ wtf and i hear a lot of older eps have been pulled from online streaming, thank god i have the first 20 seasons on dvd

Folks not old enough to remember Beanie Babies and Cabbage Patch Kids are losing their freaking minds over Labubu dolls and racking up huge debts buying them.
Back in my day it was the WWF " action figures" no they aren't dolls!
If anything it's the right watching and giggling because they have a sense of humour still. Even if it's at their own expense.
