How do you know it's input lag? You might just be a bad player. No problems here.

I also did not have secure boot enabled so it's obviously not a default setting

Could be a bad player but im not so theres that.
I know its input lag because the engine is known for it.
If you play it long enough - [i have 800 hours] you dont notice it much but once you go to another fps its as clear as day.
 
Anyone else doing the season 7 battlepass: Road to battlefield 6? I'm tier 58 but I'm going to just hop on in the double and triple weekends and maybe a daily for the 10k bonus. With the xp for each weekly challenge I've got this in the bag. However the actually medal, found under seasons of the edit profile tab is not progressing. Only got 20 points and not even bronze. I've tier 1'ed a few seasons.

I also want the skins for battlefield 6 and I've preordered it on steam, although I played the beta via ea app.
 
What's player numbers like lately, Assume its gone through the roof considering they were literally giving the game away for £3?

Also cheating, Have you guys noticed a significant amount of cheaters since this sale?

Just wondering if its worth a re-install.

Cannot comment on the cheating but Steamcharts shows 34,000 24 hr peak and 32,000 now so not too shabby!

Been playing this the last few weeks along with @Neil79 (he has gone and uninstalled it now he has finished the battlepass).

I'm finding some of the missions difficult to complete including the repair tool kills, every time I almost get it the player either turns around and zaps me or someone steals my kill!
 
Completed the battlepass thingy last week. Got over 750 hours on this game.
It's been fun, worst BF game released probably but I've still enjoyed it. Ready for BF6 now.
 
Disappointed, logged on yesterday to complete the Battle Pass and realised that the EA / Dice statement about the triple XP weekend was a bit ambiguous in stating that it ended on Tuesday (when exactly on Tuesday). So couldn't finish the last 3 tiers, why they couldn't just leave it active until the day before BF6 release I don't know, seems to me like another crazy half-thought-out decision by the people running the service. I don't hold out much hope for the successor in this regard.
 
Bought 2042 when it was £2.49 and logged over 85 hours. Me and a few mates have really enjoyed it. The last few weeks as the player counted has plummeted (~50k to 7k last night!) we are starting to find cheaters.

I've completed the Battle pass, looking forward to BF6 - Noticed last night that all modes have been completely stripped down and Battle pass challenges no longer available.

Wtf! just hopped on for a quick blast and cant even choose 64 player now, it was the only thing that made it sort of playable for me as hate the 128 player, bf6 cant come soon enough
 
420 hours, by far the lowest of any BF game and ive played them all.

My biggest issue with the game was the maps, they are just terrible.
The most fun and probably the only fun ive had in the game was with the remade bad company 2 maps.

Other than that the cringey voice lines and specialist BS really got on my nerves after a while but initially didnt really bother me.
Overall its a good riddance from me.
