I thought that was great episode. Still loving the eye and it's sheep host. Plus we had Godsmack too, so that's a bonus.

Are you thinking of Alien covenant, where Walter tells David, that they changed the David models to be less human like & free thinking?I assume at some point, possibly even as a result of the events that happen here, both hybrids and full synthetics get downgraded. Isnt there a bit in one of the Alien movies where Ash or Bishop say something along the lines of synths being downgraded for some reason? Maybe what we are seeing here is the cause for that downgrade
Also, thank God for the humongous vent, with a cover that just pulls out and which can take you places being there in an otherwise ultra secure locked down lab !Who fires someone, but leaves them with god level access to their most critical assets. And does nobody except the synth bother monitoring the CCTV or guard the lab?
I know it would be boring if everyone was competent and nothing happened. But this is taking idiocy and incompetence a bit beyond belief.
BishopEarly models were quirky, Ash couldn't allow a human to be harmed by action or inaction in Aliens. Kirsch seemingly has no problem with human harm.
Yes, should have looked it up first. Getting old.Bishop
I swear half of you must have the attention span of gnats if you found that boring.
The only bit I thought was really stupid was that they wiped nibs memory and in the very next scene Wendy is telling her everything that happened.
Thanks for spoiling the ending of Dynasty/Dallas!
Ripley "ends" Dallas by torching him with a flamethrower after he is cocooned by the Xenomorph in a frankly highly ambitious and ill thought-out trapping manoeuvre.
How's about that for a Dallas ending spoiler!
Only in a deleted scene
Hasn't Ridley basically admitted that the "Directors cut" of Alien was just a cashgrab that Fox asked for, and not his actual version of the filmIt was included in the Directors Cut of the film. There was however a hidden deleted scene on the dvd where just before Dallas goes in to the vent, he does say to Parker, "I hope I don't die nasty in there! Ha Ha! Get it? Dallas... Dynasty... Haha!".
AndUpon viewing the proposed expanded version of the film, I felt that the cut was simply too long and the pacing completely thrown off. After all, I cut those scenes out for a reason back in 1979. However, in the interest of giving the fans a new experience with Alien, I figured there had to be an appropriate middle ground. I chose to go in and recut that proposed long version into a more streamlined and polished alternate version of the film. For marketing purposes, this version is being called "The Director's Cut".
For all intents and purposes, I felt that the original cut of Alien was perfect. I still feel that way", and that the original 1979 theatrical version "remains my version of choice

Edit: Yes
If you mean the door to the flying ticks, that was a push door wasn’t it?Why was he struggling with that door? Literally all he had to do is open the door slide it..
but not he was teetering like the door was a struggle, looked like he was off balance, dawdling around lol.
then remembered that it’s a kid in an adult body
ProbablyThis is probably the only way the writers could come up with a reason why all those characters have to do stupid things…
Some will say yes, some will say no, some will say if you're getting it anyway for Andor then why not watch it anyway irrespective of the 50/50 split in the thread. So what's the verdict, this worth a month of D+? Although I do need to watch Andor S2 and I'm pretty sure that'll be worth it alone.
