Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

They leave them anywhere even if you do leave the porch open. I've had three deliveries left on the path up against the outside of the porch door in the last month, the porch door is always unlocked if I know a delivery is coming and there are notes on my account that specifically say to leave IN THE PORCH!

Amazon Logistics suck!

Never had an issue. I have it noted on my account that the front porch will be open. They always leave them in there and they always shut the door behind them too. Had more issues with the Amazon lockers at work than actual deliveries to my house.

I get a txt just before deliveries to make sure my dog(s) are under control. They're always under control lol, but it sounds like my cockapoo is on their hit list. She does bark at them.

It doesn't even work properly since they killed off the old sharing program anyhow - probably intentionally - even same household doesn't work properly.

EDIT: Which means members of my household who were sharing my plan are now spending money elsewhere looking for better prices over the convenience and with the change to Prime Video and ads and no longer having people using my Amazon benefits like they were I'm considering cancelling Prime and likewise going to the effort of better prices over convenience.

The ads have completely put me off Prime Video, anything interesting I see I just add to Plex first. Only using it for free delivery now

After the ruined the comixology app by buying it and forcing me to use the inferior Kindle app, I was ready to leave.

I left Prime after realising I would rather wait a few days , it helped to lessen the consumption and impulse materialist purchase of crap.

I actually support that move, why should I pay full rate for prime, and others effectively get it discounted by paying into a pot with it shared by multiple people?

Yes this has affected me.
I don't use amazon much, and certainly not enough for prime. So they've lost my custom to ebay/Ali express for Anything cheap.

I've noticed I use amazon a lot less as time goes on. It's not a moral thing. I just don't find them competitive like they were a few years ago. Also get concerned with how many things are sold by marketplace now.

I'm down to less than once a month ordering with the removal Of prime sharing.

Adverts on Prime video are really doing my head in now. Instead of just one before the program starts we have been getting two and three proper adverts (products/gambling not just previews) and during the program another one or two ads as well, plus it's usually at a important part of the program so it ruins it for us. If they think that will make people pay more for ad less viewing they need to think again because I am more likely to stop using it altogether.

It's not much of a surprise that they are starting to do that. If you only get the adverts at the start it's not worth subbing to the ad-free version, so they were bound to start doing it eventually.

I've had, I think, 3 delayed deliveries this week. They're getting worse and worse to the point where I think I'll just start paying that slightly bit extra in delivery costs and using a different retailer

I ordered a guide book on Berlin a week ago. It came, but it was a very amateurly produced so I asked for a refund. They said that I didnt have to return it and gave a full refund.

Was the book by a renowned author or with good reviews and covering a specialist aspect of the city? In these days of AI authorship it must be pretty easy to knock together a guidebook to a major city with a dump of information from the net.

It didnt have good reviews but it seemed to offer some info. All in all not worth it. It was called Berlin in 3 days or something.

That is pretty much an issue with quite a few books that I know of on Amazon, with some just being nothing more than poor photocopied pages thrown into a book with the title changed to UK/Euro and is in fact US sizes, that's in respect of cooking books and the like.

I'm still not a member, partner signed up an and am still getting speedy deliveries (local shop and business address can make some items arrive quicker than home) and am still saving money on many well know items.

I’ve found that low-value items fulfilled by Amazon and sold by a 3rd party are often refunded without a return required. I think it’s something the seller chooses because of what Amazon charges them for processing a return.
