You really do need at least 60fps without frame gen or it will lag like ****. I tried DLAA + Framegen first and had 100fps but found the mouse input very laggy, so I turned frame gen off and saw fps was 50fps. Then changed to DLSS Quality instead + Frame Gen, now the lag is gone and mouse feels fine
You need to disable frame Gen then play around with graphics settings until you hit 60fps, then only enable frame Gen, that's the only way the mouse input latency won't be high and noticeable
If unfortunately your PC is too weak to reach 60fps without frame gen no matter what settings you run, then you may find that just leaving frame gen off feels better to play with, 30-40fps isn't great but the input latency will be lower on your mouse and you find it easier to play that way

I find that frame-gen works best when you already have decently high frames, I'm guessing that's why it feels a little off.
Three of us in co-op, 18 hours in and level 22 and loving it so far!
Literally the only thing that's annoyed me was a legendary drop from a boss which was a class mod for the one character none of us were playing! Given that legendary drops are much rarer again than in BL3 (a good thing), this shouldn't happen and class mods should always be for one of the characters that actually beat the damn boss!

Yeah, that sucks. Haven't had any legendaries yet from the world bosses I've downed.
Yeah as per the post above yours personally I need at least 60-70 FPS base before framegen or it just feels laggy and I notice the visual artefacts - it is nice if you are trying to top up performance but doesn't make up for having poor performance in the first place like something like DLSS/FSR can do.

After the weekend we're around 15 hours in and nearly level 25, started doing just the main story missions and skipping everything else till that's done then go back and do it as the loot is supposed to be tied to your level for rewards.
Had to turn frame gen down to 2 from 4 as when at 4 it was doing a weird stutter when walking / moving mouse.
Other than that it's been fine with most settings maxxed out at 4k 120hz.

I had 3 crashes until I changed it from Windowed to Exclusive Full Screen. Not crashed since.
That’s on a 5090 too. It shouldn’t make a difference as I have Gsync set to Full and Windowed, but it appears to have worked for me.

If you read all of his messages in that thread, it sort of makes sense. I can see what he is saying, particularly in regard of gamers need to embrace DLSS not poo-poo its use, but Randy being Randy doesnt always word things in the best of ways
