Gen V

I thought it was really good, in general I find the over all production quality and vibe of this and The Boys way above the majority of modern tv.

8 episodes seemed to cram in so much stuff, no filler, felt like I got way more than I normally would from 8 episodes of other shows.

I'd also have to laugh off any woke complaints. I get annoyed by overt, in-your-face, or ham-fisted "wokeness", and didn't feel that at all from this show. As a qualifier, I also enjoyed a recent slasher film called Totally Killer, but the worst parts were the protagonist making constant "woke" comments at the people in the 80s.
Maybe some people are upset over having seen 2 dongs. :D

Looking forward to S2.

I thought it was hilarious. I called my Mrs in to watch the exploding penis and she was discussed so that makes it a good series  . I'm now waiting for the next series of wither this or the buys (but I think the boys must be due out soon).

Late to the party. Decided to watch it before S4. I've been pleasantly surprised, the characters have been well fleshed out and the story is nice and tight. In many respects this better than The Boys. Which has a chaotic and unstructured story in each season rescued by amazing set pieces and sharp gross out comedy.

First 3eps done - another Scooby Doo mystery story , only the pesky kids have super powers.

Cipher is interesting though. It was bugging me where i knew him from and it's just come to me, he was the priest in Midnight Mass - great show!

Time to put this to bed.

Watched the first episode last night and I'm somewhat confused as from what I can recall, they were all locked up in a door less room?!
I suppose the little exposition given in Ep1 tells us how they escaped? Marie had an "opportunity" and she took it?! Perhaps this is explored in further episodes.
Will attempt Ep2 tonight.

Yes, i thought i had just not remembered the escape! But i rewatched the ending of S1 and it was just them waking up in the doorless room. The only way we know they escaped was what they told us in S2, so maybe we will get a flashback of the actual escape - probably not considering the irl death of a character :(

Ahh, did not realise a cast member had died. Damn. I've clocked you've seen 3 eps thus far and are still in the dark. Perhaps, due to the real life death it will be, likely correctly, left ambiguous.

Missed Chance dying, so young and sad - especially as he was on his way to filming the the start of S2. I do like the in universe lore (TV shows, films etc) we get in the new season.

Just gonna do both that way sorta half up to date with gen V season 2

Watched the first 2 episodes last night. Now this may be down to my bad memory, but did the lesbian love confession not come out of nowhere? I can't remember them even being interested in each other.
