——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

I'm not against having a more open weapons selection but having both a sniper rifle and assault rifle at the same time seems dumb in a game like this. If you are playing as a recon class and want a more rounded firepower approach then IMO the correct approach to that is to sacrifice an equipment slot for a PDW or carbine.

It feels like they have decided to get rid of classes - obviuosly a lot of push back against this in 2042.

So they have given the classes back - but with open weapons, whats the point; it doesn't matter what class you are now - you're all the same 'ready for anything' class.

The thing I've always loved about Battlefield is that you need to work with your other players if you want to thrive and pick the class the team needs - maybe not the one you like. You can lone wolf it for a while, but eventually you'll meet something you can't deal with, run out of ammo, need reviving etc.

I don't know - maybe people prefer to run around on their own now; its the team play that made it different than COD, is BF becoming COD.

I'm playing a lot of 2042 at the moment, I enjoy it.

If you get a 4 man squad working together well you can change the game. So much more enjoyable.

Bring on BF6 can't wait.

Battlefield 6 Will Feature Its Own Macro Detection for Cronus Cheaters on Consoles
That's super news, it's not nearly as easy to cheat on console as it seems to be on PC but it's almost harder to detect on console because of that. Glad they're addressing it.

Hopefully they stop all this "Aim Training" Nonsense that's flooding BF Twitter this month

That looks incredibly dumb, also some of the worst building destruction I've seen, at first glance looks quite impressive but the more you look at it the more you see how much they've faked it.
Yeah cause in the moment when being shot at etc you’ll stand there to be killed and stare at the building

Honestly people need to enjoy games more and stop focus on so much of the tiny details.

The games frantic considering what’s going on it’s by far the worst destruction design

Once you notice it you won't stop seeing it even in frantic gameplay :s though I can understand the technical reasons the way debris piles grow out of the ground looks silly and is a lazy solution to the complications, they'd have been better off not implementing it if they can't do it decently.
