Taxi is indeed a fantastic film.
HIM 7/10
The wife went to bed early, so I was looking for something that wouldn't cause any matrimonial sour grapes watching solo..
After all the negative reviews I was certain this would fit the bill, but instead it turned out to be very enjoyable and rather captivating!
Definitely exceeded my expectations!

Watched a couple of old conspiracy thrillers I'd never seen before.
Night Moves, Gene Hackman 1975. PI gets a case to find a missing teenager (Melanie Griffith first ever role I think) and gets involved in a convoluted scheme. Love a bit of Gene and it's compelling enough. 8/10
Three Days of the Condor, Redford, also 75 I think. Very anxious who polices the police type story when a CIA operation is gunned down and the lone survivor has to come in. But who can he trust and who ordered the hit on his team? Max von Sydow is excellent, there's a slighty ropey hostage storyline with Faye Dunaway, whom submits to Redford's charms even though she's being held at gunpoint. Seems a bit icky these days. Anyhow. Great stuff otherwise 8/10

Last night was the new Conjuring one, um 6/10, it was ok, but not something that blew my socks off, was very derivative and predictable
It is a good movie.
Shame in a way as they properly rinsed it with the 96 sequels or however many, I think it detracted from this one on a way.

The Lost Bus, it could have been so better with less drama while still taking some liberty's with the story. Though saying that I still enjoyed it overall but more for the bits going on outside of the bus.
Angels with Dorty Faces - 9/10
Absolutely love this movie and always have done. A classic James Cagney movie from 1938. About two childhood friends whose lives took very different turns.
Also starring Pat O'Brian and Humphrey Bogart.

Same. Too drawn out, too much emo stuff. Granted the source material is obviously a very sensitive topic though.

Reservoir Dogs 1992
I have seen this a few times but been quite a long time since I seen it.
Still a great movie today, and in my opinion QTs best.
Great acting, cast and script, was made on an absolute shoe string budget and no CGI in sight.

I thought the other two were terrible so didn’t bother with the latest one as it was obviously going to be more of the same.
Agreed it’s a terrible film. They’ve hired Gunn to take them backwards.
The Terminator. Even though I've watched the second one loads I don't think I've seen this one for 30 years. Still holds up pretty well apart from the scenes with his robot eye. Really good film and got me in the mood for some more Arnie classics.
