Strawman argument.
Yes I'm sure you would tolerate if I record your daughter in the toilet at work. And be protected by the company
Hahhaha

You seem to be losing the plot.
Where have I claimed you should tolerate it?
You’re acting like everywhere is like this.
You don't have a clue . So carry on work there , suck it up eh?
Hahaha and I'm sure you'd be fine if I was your manager I'd be stealing from your timesheet as well.

I have a clue that you’ve given up on work entirely and decided benefits are the way forward as you’ve told us so.
All the while claiming people are jealous of your 20 year old audio equipment in the home cinema section.
Very strange behaviour tbh, but you do you. When other people are always the issue in multiple jobs, it’s probably time to do some self reflection.
Nobody has claimed you should be putting up with any of that by the way. You’re creating strawman arguments to deflect from the point.
You're absolutely right it's my fault the manager psychically and mentally abused multiple staff and stole from multiple people
Remember Jimmy saville it was the kids fault.
Another strawman argument and now resorting to personal attacks.
Have some self awareness and realise how you’re coming across in this thread.
Hornetstinger has gone about it the wrong way but cleaners and shelf stackers shouldn’t be paid the same if not more than the job spec posted. That’s the biggest issue with national minimum wage at the moment. People are realising that not working vs working the pay difference is tiny.
Even worse, you realise 4-5 years of study and mounting debt and your barely paid more then minimum wage in your entrance job. If you even manage to stay in the same field.
Minimum wage is definitely too high in the sense that some jobs, or some workers, simply aren't productive enough to justify its level. The bottom 10% or so of workers just isn't worth that level of payHornetstinger has gone about it the wrong way but cleaners and shelf stackers shouldn’t be paid the same if not more than the job spec posted. The problem, though, is that minimum wage HAS to be that high because cost of living is so high, and people really should be able to live at a sensible minimum standard of living off the back of a full time job.
Housing and energy costs are really what drives the problem, and both have been driven upwards by political choices for the past 40+ years.
If I was unemployed I'd happily take that rather than living on benefits, at least I would have some self respect. Maybe it's an age thing.
There seems to be an alarming amount on sickness benefits these days.
With that wage, you be respecting the company more than yourself. That's the first mistake.
If they're not willing to pay for your knowledge or experience...then not worth working for them- they're taking advantage of you. You know whose getting the most of your hard work...lol
There's also self suspect in not working for pittance when your job skills evolved over the years.
Unless you're also scamming some sickness benefits etc.. too then you're obliged to look for work while on benefits - it's not supposed to be optional.
If you're deliberately turning down or not applying for work because of some inflated ego issues when you have an obligation to do so as part of collecting those benefits then you're grifting the system - you're one of the many people taking advantage of benefits while not being included in the official "fraud" stats.
Your knowledge and experience is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, not what you think you ought to be able to get - if you're in tech and not able to get anything much beyond minimum wage then you simply don't have much in the way of worthwhile skills to set you apart from entry level people people with a basic vocational college education.
