——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Ill say it again its nothing like COD , you guys need to try something else to try and justify your dislike :D

In part it is, and this is why COD content creators are lapping it up.

There's only a couple of Battlefield like maps.

I'm enjoying it, but I have other issues with the game :D

Regardless of whether people think it's more like COD, it's just an average FPS that's going to fizzle out over the next few weeks.

With these kinds of titles, I usually struggle to pull myself away from playing and I'm itching to get back on. With this one though, I play a couple of rounds and then I'm just like, 'Meh, I'll log off.'

It's not a skill issue either. After dialling in sensitivity and changing some settings, such as uniform infantry aiming, I was beaming people and regularly finishing top.

I genuinely had more fun in 2042 after the major patch that updated it from being awful to being playable. Had I paid full price for this on Steam, I would have requested a refund and bought it again when it was priced in the bargain bin after a couple of major updates.

Nah they are only lapping it up because the realize how stale COD is.

Dont get me wrong its far from perfect and does indeed need more big maps.

Hahaha come on, this is nothing like cod! its also 100% the best battlefield game since bf4...im having a ton of fun playing it and had some real amazing battlefield type moments.

Can it be frustrating at times...yes..but its a lot of fun more often than not.

Played all the BF games and after 15 hours of this I have mixed feelings. I do like it and really wanted to love it but it's just not Battlefield is it.

This was made primarily just to steal Cod players and make them feel like they are playing more of a Cod game than Battlefield and by that they have succeeded.

I'll still play it and have fun but it's just not Battlefield.
I know what you mean.

BF6 is awesome but it has steered away a little from what really separated it from a game like COD. It's missing those really big and epic feeling maps.

I'm certainly not complaining as 2042 was cringe to the point I'd feel embarrassed at myself playing it and COD has just turned into a complete joke with all the OTT skins.

I don’t get the comparison to COD,it plays nothing like it.Most of the gameplay on COD is people flying around like they are on roller skates
I do like Bf6 is miles better than 2042. You can't compare BF6 to CoD, it's nowhere close or fair comparison.

It seems to have a solid base to build from. It does seem to have gone for the smaller more frantic maps to steal some of the CoD playerbase upon release.

But as others have said, bigger maps are needed so air can pop behind buildings/hills to break lock on and being painted. With some naval/island warfare. Basically, we need the proper BF maps.

Also this is interesting

Excellent job showing how the VRAM overfills after a certain amount of play time. 10:25 this is indeed a huge issue with too little VRAM that is also apparent in many many other games and is not covered by benchmarks at all. Very important that people know about this. It is a case of having a bad experience when actually playing the games and not benchmarking them. So thank you Steve. "

So the game also suffers from VRAM overload

Yeah after about an hour on overkill settings the framerate drops a lot on my 9070XT.Going down to Ultra fixes the issue
